Put the hardware on an antistatic mat. Begin
dismantling the original cooler. Depending
on the structure of the cooler, remove the screws at
the back of the card and carefully unhook the fan
connector first. If the original cooler uses thermal glue,
extreme care should be taken as you can easily damage
parts. Pick up all the items carefully. Next, clean the
hardware of thermal paste or pad residues with a
solvent (e.g. alcohol).
Legen Sie die Hardware auf eine antistatische
Unterlage. Beginnen Sie mit der Demontage
des Original-Kühlers. Je nach Aufbau des Kühlers sind
zuerst die Schrauben des Lüfters zu entfernen und die
Blenden zu lösen. Bei aufgeklebten Kühlern ist äußerste
Sorgfalt geboten. Es können leicht Bauteile abgerissen
werden. Heben Sie alle Einzelteile sorgfältig auf.
Reinigen Sie anschließend die Hardware von Resten der
Wärmeleitpaste oder Pads mit einem Lösemittel (z.B.
Spiritus).

Commencez par le démontage du
refroidisseur d’origine. Selon la configuration du
radiateur les vis du ventilateur et les caches doivent
être enlevés d’abord. S’il s’agit d’un refroidisseur collé il
faut travailler très doucement. Sinon des composants
peuvent s’arracher. Conservez tous les pièces
soigneusement. Ensuite, nettoyer le matériel de résidus
de la pâte thermique ou de pads avec un solvant (alcool
par ex.).
Before starting the cooler assembly, compare your card
with the picture above. The cooler is constructed
specifically for this layout. Occasionally, graphics card
manufacturers may revise the design of their card
slightly, causing the cooler not to fit on later models.
During assembly, please make sure taller parts have
enough space around them and that the cooler does
not damage your graphics card.
Alphacool International GmbH is not liable for
assembly errors occurring due to negligence,
such as selecting an incompatible cooler.
Bevor Sie mit der Montage des Kühlers beginnen,
vergleichen Sie Ihre Platine mit dem vorliegenden Foto.
Der Kühler wurde speziell für dieses Layout
konstruiert. Es kommt vor, dass Grafikkartenhersteller
über Revisionen den Aufbau leicht abändern und damit
der Kühler auf spätere Modelle nicht mehr passt.
Achten Sie auch bei der Montage darauf, dass hohe
Bauteile frei liegen und der Kühler die Grafikkarte nicht
beschädigt.
Alphacool International GmbH haftet nicht bei
fahrlässigen Montagefehlern, wie die Wahl eines
inkompatiblen Kühlers.
Avant de commencer l’installation merci de vérifier que
votre carte ressemble bien a celle sur l’image. Le
refroidisseur a été conçu spécialement pour cette
disposition des composants. Il est possible que le
fabricant change des détails dans la disposition de ses
composants lors d’une révision et que le bloc de
refroidissement ne soit plus compatible. Veillez lors de
l’installation au fait que les composants hauts ne
touchent pas le bloc de refroidissement et que le bloc
n’endommage pas la carte graphique.

Remove the protective film from the cooler
base!
Clean the contact surfaces on the bottom side of the
cooler with alcohol or similar. The surface must be free
of contaminants.
Remove the protective film from the 15 mm x 15 mm x
0.5 mm thermal pads and place them in the areas
shown in pink. The pink 30 mm x 30 mm x 0.5 mm
pads are suitable for the voltage converters but must be
trimmed to size. Do not forget to remove the
protective film on both sides!
Entfernen Sie auch die Schutzfolie auf dem
Kühlerboden!
Reinigen Sie die Kontaktflächen auf der Bodenseite des
Kühlers mit Spiritus oder ähnlichen Mitteln. Die Fläche
muss frei von Verunreinigungen sein.
Entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie der pink dargestellten 15
mm x 15 mm x 0,5 mm Wärmeleitpads und platzieren
Sie diese wie dargestellt. Die pink dargestellten 30 mm
x 30 mm x 0,5 mm Wärmeleitpads für die
Spannungswandler müssen zugeschnitten werden.
Vergessen Sie auch hier nicht die Schutzfolie zu
entfernen!
Retirez le film de protection sur la base du
refroidisseur!
Nettoyez les surfaces de contact (la face inférieure du
bloc de refroidissement) avec de l’alcool. La surface
doit être propre sans aucune pollution.
Retirez le film de protection des pads thermiques 15
mm x 15 mm x 0.5 mm montrés en rose fuchsia et
posez-les sur les comme montré. Les pads
thermiques 30 mm x 30 mm x 0.5 mm en rose fuchsia
pour le convertisseur de tension doivent être
découpés. N’oublier pas d’enlever le film de
protection.


Fasten the original slot bracket with 2 M3x 5
screws and M3 nuts from the scope of
delivery.
With the help of a plastic strip or similar spread a thin
layer of thermal paste on the GPU. The layer should be
less than a millimeter thick, otherwise the surrounding
components may be contaminated unnecessarily.
Befestigen Sie das Original-Slotblech mit 2
M3x 5 Schrauben und M3 Muttern aus dem
Lieferumfang.
Tragen Sie nun, unter Zuhilfenahme eines
Plastikstreifens oder Ähnlichem, eine gleichmäßige
Schicht Wärmeleitpaste auf die zu kühlende GPU auf.
Die Schicht sollte weniger als einen Millimeter dick sein,
da sonst die umliegenden Bauteile unnötig verunreinigt
werden können.
Fixez la plaque à fente d'origine avec 2 vis
M3x 5 et des écrous M3 de la livraison.
Appliquez maintenant la pâte thermique sur le
processeur graphique à refroidir. Etalez-la à l’aide d’une
bande en plastique. Afin d’éviter de salir les composants
autour la couche doit rester inférieure à un millimètre
d’épaisseur.
Place the graphics card on the cooler as
shown in the picture. Mount the graphics
card with the M3x5 screws and M3 washers as shown
in the picture.
Platzieren Sie die Grafikkarte, wie
dargestellt, auf dem Kühler. Fixieren Sie die
Karte mit 2 M3x5 Schrauben und den M3
Unterlegscheiben, wie im Bild zu sehen.
Placez la carte graphique sur le refroidisseur
comme montré dans l’image. Vissez les 2
M3x5 vis avec les rondelles M3 comme montré.

Remove the protective film from the 15 mm
x 15 mm x 2 mm thermal pads and place
them in the areas shown in orange. Place the remaining
pink 15 mm x 15 mm x 0.5 mm pad on the back of the
GPU. The orange 30 mm x 30 mm x 2 mm pads are
suitable for the voltage converters but must be
trimmed to size. Do not forget to remove the
protective film on both sides!
Entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie der orange
dargestellten 15 mm x 15 mm x 2 mm
Wärmeleitpads und platzieren Sie diese wie dargestellt.
Platzieren Sie das übrige, pinkfarbene 15 mm x 15 mm x
0.5 mm Pad rückseitig der GPU. Die orange
dargestellten 30 mm x 30 mm x 2 mm Wärmeleitpads
für die Spannungswandler müssen zugeschnitten
werden. Vergessen Sie auch hier nicht die Schutzfolie zu
entfernen!
Retirez le film de protection des pads
thermiques 15 mm x 15 mm x 2 mm
montrés en orange et posez-les sur les comme
montré. Placez le tampon rose fuchsia restant 15 mm
x 15 mm x 0,5 mm à l'arrière du GPU. Les pads
thermiques 30 mm x 30 mm x 2 mm pour le
convertisseur de tension doivent être découpés.
N’oublier pas d’enlever le film de protection.
Put the backplate on as shown in the picture
and screw the cooler together. Hand-tighten
the 8 M3x11 screws crosswise with one turn each.
Retighten the screws after about 12 hours of use of the
graphics card.
Legen Sie die Backplate, wie im Bild gezeigt,
auf die Grafikkarte und schrauben Sie den
Kühler zusammen. Die 8 M3x11 Schrauben dabei
kreuzweise mit je einer Umdrehung anziehen.
Drehen Sie nach ca. 12 Stunden Benutzung der
Grafikkarte nochmals alle Schrauben fest.
Installez la plaque arrière comme montré
dans l’image et visser le refroidisseur. Serrer
les 8 M3x11 vis par une seule tour respective de
manière croisé.
Resserrez les vis après 12 heures d’utilisation de la
carte graphique.

safety instructions • Not suitable for children under 6 years. (contains small parts which could be swallowed). • Do not run any cooling components without ensuring that cooling liquid is flowing through the cooling system. Coolers operated without coolant can become very hot. Caution: Burn Hazard! • Coolers that have no coolant flowing through them can destroy the computer hardware. When switching on the hardware, always make sure that the pump is functioning. • Please note when tightening the connectors or fittings, no tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, or wrenches, or the like should be used. All plastic products or metal threaded connections, which are linked with plastic parts, are easily over-loaded with tools. Cracking or other damages incurred in this way, as well as damage from leaking coolant, are not covered under the warranty! • Use only connectors with a sealing o-ring When using a sealing ring a firm tightening with the hand is enough. Your instruction manual will clearly refer to the use of tools in exceptional cases. • If you have not done so yet, please check your hardware and cooling system (tightness, pump function and fans). This will minimize time spent searching for possible problems. ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH accepts no liability on the warranty of the manufacturer of the electronic components. The assembly of the cooling system takes place at your own risk. • The screws should not be tightened too firmly. If you tighten the screws excessively, the knurled nuts can loosen and the cooler´s uniform pressure is no longer guaranteed. • Fasten the connections of your choice to the cooler. Do not use tools such as wrenches for fastening the connections. Connectors with 8mm long threads may stop the flow. • We recommend a tightness test before assembling/installing the cooler. The water pressure in the water cooling loop can be at a maximum of 0.8 bar. DO NOT use tools on the connectors. • Ensure that the cooler is touching all components to be cooled through thermal grease and thermal pads. The picture shows what the imprint of a GPU should look like. • Only use distilled water or ALPHACOOL CAPE KELVIN CATCHER in your cooling circuit. Damage caused by unsuitable coolant is not covered by the warranty! Specified normal operation All ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH cooling components are constructed and licensed for ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH computer construction parts. The warranty expires in case of misuse. Warranty 1. Data, designs, illustrations, technical data, weight, measurement and specifications, contained in folders, catalogues, circulars, announcements or price lists, have a purely informative character. We do not undertake warranty for the correctness of these data. As to the kind and the range of delivery, the data contained in the order and confirmation of order alone are decisive. 2. If there is a lack of warrantor, you are entitled, on the basis of the legal regulations to require subsequent delivery, to withdraw from the contract or reduce the purchase price. If you are a consumer, the limitation period of warranty claims for the supplied commodity amounts to two years starting from receipt of good (§13 BGB). If you are an entrepreneur, in accordance with legal conditions the limitation period amounts to only one year (§ 14 BGB). 3. Durch den Dichtring reicht ein festes Anziehen mit der Hand völlig aus! In Ausnahmefällen werden Sie in der Anleitung eindeutig auf die Verwendung von Werkzeug hingewiesen! • Überzeugen Sie sich bitte von der Funktion Ihrer Hardware, sowie des Kühlsystems (Dichtheit, Pumpenfunktion und Lüfter). Falls noch nicht erfolgt. Sie minimieren so den Aufwand bei der Suche möglicher Fehlerquellen. ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH übernimmt nicht die Garantie des Herstellers der elektronischen Bauteile und Komponenten. Die Montage des Kühlsystems erfolgt auf eigenes Risiko. • Die Schrauben sollten nicht zu fest angezogen werden. Wenn Sie die Schrauben übermäßig fest angezogen haben, können sich die Haltebolzen lösen und es ist keine gleichmäßige Auflage des Kühlers mehr gewährleistet. • Bei Anschlüssen mit 8 mm Gewindelänge kann es zur Durchflussminimierung kommen. • Wir empfehlen einen Dichtigkeitstest vor Montage / Einbau des Kühlers. Der Wasserdruck im Kreislauf der Wasserkühlung darf maximal 0,8 Bar sein. • Überzeugen Sie sich, dass der Kühler alle zu kühlenden Bauteile mit Wärmeleitpaste und / oder Wärmeleitpads berührt. • Verwenden Sie ausschließlich destilliertes Wasser oder ALPHACOOL CAPE KELVIN CATCHER in Ihrem Kühlkreislauf. Entstandene Schäden durchungeeignete Kühlflüssigkeit fallen nicht in die Gewährleistung! Bestimmungsgemäßer Betrieb Die ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH-Kühlkomponenten sind für die Kühlung von Computerbauteilen von ALPHACOOL zugelassen. Bei artfremder Nutzung erlischt die Gewährleistung. Gewährleistung 1. Angaben, Zeichnungen, Abbildungen, technische Daten, Gewichts-, Maß- und Leistungsbeschreibungen, die in Prospekten, Katalogen, Rundschreiben, Anzeigen oder Preislisten enthalten sind, haben rein informativen Charakter. Wir übernehmen keine Gewähr für die Richtigkeit dieser Angaben. Hinsichtlich der Art und des Umfangs der Lieferung sind allein die in Bestellung und Auftragsbestätigung enthaltenen Angaben ausschlaggebend. 2. Soweit ein gewährleistungspflichtiger Mangel vorliegt, sind Sie im Rahmen der gesetzlichen Bestimmungen berechtigt, Nacherfüllung zu verlangen, vom Vertrag zurückzutreten oder den Kaufpreis zu mindern. Schäden, die durch den Transport oder unsachgemäße Verpackung entstehen. 8. Die in dem jeweiligen Land geltenden Rechte des Verbrauchers, z.B. Forderungen gegenüber dem Verkäufer, wie im Kaufvertrag niedergelegt, werden von dieser Gewährleistungserklärung nicht berührt. Il suffit de serres ces raccords à la main! Dans des cas exceptionnels, l’utilisation des outils est clairement indiquée dans la notice! • Assurez-vous du bon fonctionnement de votre matériel, ainsi que du système de refroidissement (étanchéité, pompes et ventilateurs). Si ne pas déjà fait. Vous minimisez ainsi l‘effort lors de la recherche de sources d‘erreurs possibles. ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH ne garantit pas les composants électroniques d’autres fabricants. L‘installation du système de refroidissement est à votre propre risque. • Les vis ne doivent pas être trop serrés. Si vous avez trop serré les vis, les boulons de fixation peuvent se desserrer. Le bloc de refroidissement sera mal installé dans ce cas. • L’utilisation de raccords avec 8mm de filetage peut entrainer des réductions du débit. • Nous recommandons un test d‘étanchéité avant le montage / installation du refroidisseur. La pression de l‘eau dans la circulation ne doit pas dépasser 0,8 bar. • Assurez-vous que tous les composants à refroidir sont touchés par la pâte ou des pads thermiques. La photo montre l’image idéal de l‘empreinte d‘un GPU. • Veuillez utiliser que de l’eau déminéralisé ou ALPHACOOL CAPE KELVIN CATCHER dans votre circuit de refroidissement. Des dommages causés par des liquides inappropriés ne font dans aucun cas parti de la garantie. Toute autre utilisation est considérée comme inappropriée et, par conséquent, dangereuse. Les composants de refroidissement d’ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH sont agréés pour le refroidissement de composants d´ordinateur d’ALPHACOOL. En cas d´ utilisation non conforme la garantie sera annulée. Garantie 1. Des informations, dessins techniques, illustrations, données techniques, descriptions de poids, mesure et performance contenus dans les prospects, catalogues, circulaires, annonces ou la listes de prix, ont un caractère purement informatif. La garantie est valable qu’avec la facture originale, le ticket de caisse ou une confirmation de garantie de la part d’ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH. 4. L´appréciation d´ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH déterminera l’action entreprise, soit de réparer ou remplacer le produit ou composant en défaut. Le produit ou composant remplacé (défectueux) passe dans la propriété d´ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH. 5. Tous les droits à la garantie sont effectués directement par ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH ouses revendeurs délégués. Si la réparation est effectuée par une personne non autorisée ou mandatée, ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH ne participera pas aux dépenses et ne prendra aucune responsabilité, sauf si la réparation a été avant convenu avec ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH au préalable. 6. Tous les couts occasionnent par une éventuelle adaptation du produit, ne sont pas prises en charge par ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH. 7. Les points suivants ne sont pas comprises dans la garantie d’ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH: 7.1. Contrôles réguliers, maintenance et réparation ou le remplacement de pièces d´usage. 7.2. Mauvaise utilisation ou défauts par une installation incorrecte. 7.3. Dommages cause par orage, eau, feu, surtension, un cas de force majeure ou une guerre, raccordement défectueux au réseau, aération insuffisante ou défectueuse ou d´autres raisons, sur lesquels ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH n´a pas d´influence. 7.4. Dommages causés par le transport ou une emballage inadéquat. 8. Les droits de consommateur étant en vigueur dans le pays respectif, par exemple des demandes envers le vendeur, comme déposés dans le contrat de vente, ne sont pas touchés par cette notice de garantie d’ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH, leurs établissements et distributeurs ne portent pas responsabilité directe ou indirect des dommages ou des pertes jusqu´à ce que des définitions légales irréfutables se lui opposent. 9. ALPHACOOL INTERNATIONAL GMBH ne prend pas la garantie du fabricant des éléments et composants électroniques. L´assemblage du refroidisseur s´effectue à vos risque.
