VIPER IMPORTANT:
Thank you for purchasing the Alpkit Viper head torch. Please
curtail your excitement and do not use this product until you
have read, understood, and complied with all the instructions
and warnings contained within this manual.
A simple-to-use all-rounder. Bright
enough for a run in the dark, light and
compact enough for backpacking, perfect
for camping and walking the dog. Here
are some instructions to get you up and
running.
WARNING
◉Do not shine torch directly into your eyes.
◉Do not submerge.
◉Do not disassemble or modify this product as it will
invalidate your warranty.
◉Keep Viper clean to prevent dirt and dust from entering the
electric elements.
Do not store Viper with batteries inside for prolonged periods
of time.
◉Remove any moisture before storage.
◉Store your Viper in a dry place.

3 x AAA good quality alkaline batteries, NIMH rechargeable or
Nicd rechargeable batteries.

If this product does not meet your expectations upon delivery
or does not live up to the demands placed upon it, please
return it within 3 years of purchase for repair, replacement or

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

◉Ensure that Viper is dry before storing, store in a dry place.
◉If wet, dry thoroughly.

When your partnership with this product is over please
don’t leave it hidden in a cupboard, never to see another
adventure. Wash it, pass it on, give to a friend, sell it, donate
it to charity, make it into something else or recycle it and let
someone else live their dream.
CHANGE THE BATTERIES
Tilt the head torch and open the battery compartment.
Insert 3 x AAA batteries as indicated on the inside of the
battery compartment.
Close the battery compartment.
SERVICE AND REPAIRS
If the torch does not work, check that the battery has been
inserted the right way around and that it is not at. Check
that there is no water in the torch, dry thoroughly if there is
and try again. Check contacts for signs of corrosion caused
by the battery leaking or through damp. Clean contacts with
a light emery cloth. If issues cannot be corrected using these
instructions, contact Alpkit for advice.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Press power button once to turn on, click again to shimmy
through the settings:
LIGHT SENSOR MODE
Brightness level will be automatically adjusted according to
environment. Main beam in dark, side light in bright and close
proximity:
REMOVING STRAPS
To remove the straps, pull the rubber head plate loops to the
sides.

DISPOSAL AND RETURNS
Please do not put your batteries and torches in the bin.
Throwing batteries in the household bin can be hazardous to
the environment and your health. Any torch with a WEE icon
(the crossed-out wheelie bin) cannot be put in household
waste.
Instead, you can recycle them by:
◉Returning them to us to dispose of safely.
◉Returning them to the store where you
bought them to dispose of safely.
◉Visiting RecycleNow.com to nd your nearest
battery bank or electricals recycling point
