GENERAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Altec Lansing’s 1662A mic/line mixer is a professional, studio
quality solution for your permanent install mixing needs. The
1662A features six (6) microphone or line inputs with 20dB pad,
TRS insert, and +48V phantom power. Each input channel has
up to 60dB input gain, separate bass & treble controls, an output
assign switch for sending signal to either or both outputs, and a
level control. Stereo summing inputs on channels 5 & 6 provide
a convenient way to add typical program sources from DVD, CD,
or tape. The summing inputs can be connected for stereo-to-
mono or stereo-to-stereo operation. A full 11-segment LED
array indicates levels on output A and B. Outputs are active
servo-balanced.
Mic/line inputs and main outputs use Euroblock connectors,
allowing bare wire to be easily connected to the mixer without
soldering.
APPLICATIONS
The 1662A is useful for most sound reinforcement or public
address needs. It is perfect for school gymnasiums, meeting
rooms, Houses of Worship, lecture halls, and auditoriums. The
1662A can be set up as two mixers in projects where budget is
tight. It can also be a stereo mixer for small, portable systems.
