2. Button and knob description
2.1 Push button description
Button Description
Function button:
1. Press this button will enter into Function Mode.
2. Hold down this button while power up the machine will reset
all machine parameters to factory default except the language
setting.
Parameter button:
1. Press this button will enter into Parameter Input Mode.
2. Hold down this button while power up the machine will reset
all machine parameters to factory default including the
language setting.
Decrement or Down button:
Press this button will move the cursor down to next item under
item selection, or decrement the data value by 1 when the cursor
blink around the value.
By holding this button pressed, value under cursor will auto
decrement with acceleration.
Increment or Up button:
Press this button will move the cursor up to next item under item
selection, or increment the data value by 1 when the cursor blink
around the value.
By holding this button pressed, value under cursor will auto
increment with acceleration.
Enter button:
Confirm or update data value under Parameter Mode.
Execute selected function under Function Mode.

Move label left button:
Press this button will move the label left under the roller.
By holding this button pressed will move the label towards left
continuously.
Move label right button:
Press this button will move the label right under the roller.
By holding this button pressed will move the label towards right
direction continuously.
Cut label button:
Press this button will move the cutter to perform a cut.
Start auto button:
Press this button will start auto cut process.
Stop or Exit button:
Press this button will stop the auto cycle or exit the current mode
to idle mode.

2.2 Line Sensor Related buttons and LED
Button Description
Learn Label Pattern button:
Press this button will start label pattern learning process
Teach background button:
1. Press this button more than 1 second will teach the
background of the label and automatic select lighting colour.
(See note 1)
2. Press this button less than 1 second will teach only the
background level. The lighting color will not change. This is
used for the same label with slightly change background
level.
Status LED:
Case 1: LED blinks slowly, press background button will teach in
background level.
Case 2: LED blink fast, press background button will teach in
pattern level and also select the best color lighting for the
sensor.
Case 3: LED stay on, sensor is ready for label pattern learn button
to be pressed for normal operation.
Pattern LED
Pattern LED (red):
The red Pattern LED will be on when the label pattern (line) is cross
over the Pattern Sensor.

Status
Note:
1. There are built-in three colours of red, green and blue. The machine will select sensor
colour automatically by comparing the contrast of the background colour and the pattern
colour if you press the “Background” button longer than 1 second. If you press the
“Background” button short, the machine will only get the background contrast with last
selected colour.
2. If another pattern or position is selected, “L” button has to be pressed again once.

7. Function table
Function Display / Description
F1 Cutter service:
Use to adjust cutting force and cutting blade
F2 Clear label counter:
Clear label counter to zero and set lot number to 1
F3 Label memory:
Save or retrieve label setting from memory.
See sub-function table
F4 All position home:
Command all motors return to home position.
Usually use when system report position or home error

System setup:
Setup display language.
View each control board status.
See sub-function table.

Button Usage
Push this button will toggle the cutting blade to the highest and lowest
position for mechanical cutting blade adjustment.
Push this button will exit the cutter service mode and return to previous
mode.

power up status. Status 0 indicates pass, any non-zero implies
some error occurred and will cause machine work improperly
or lock. Please send this code to manufacturer for further
investigation.
