1. Installation Precautions
1. Installation should proceed in a safe environment and should not
have direct contact with rain or splashing water.
2. Do not place or install the equipment beneath or near any container
that filled with water or liquid.
3. Do not place or install the equipment where it is easily tripped,
stepped on, or kicked at.
4. Do not place or install the equipment near any generator or engine.

Step 2: Use 4 screws to mount NK-80 in a flat surface between NMEA
0183 device and T-connector.
Step 3: Connect NK-80 Micro-C male port to T-connector Micro-C
female port. If the provided cable length 0.1M is not enough,
use an extension cable with proper length for connection.

Step 3: Ensure NK-80 NMEA 0183 wiring information
Step 4: Connect NK-80 NMEA 0183 cable to NMEA 0183 device with
proper wiring.
NOTE: Please ensure the external device is fully NMEA 0183
compliant.
Step 5: Verify the 2 onboard LED indicators. If they start flashing in blue
and green color, the device is operating normally. If not, please
verify connection again or check manual for explanation.
NOTE:
LED 1 indicates receiving NMEA
2000 messages with blue flash
light. LED 2 indicates receiving
NMEA 0183 messages with
green flash light.
