CHARGING & SAFEGUARDS
Both batteries have been inspected and have an approximate 20% charge
from the factory. We recommend applying a full charge before use.
1) Plug the wall charger into a standard 110V polarized directional outlet.
2) A battery can be fully charged in approximately five to six hours.
3) Use the battery indicator located on the battery to check the charge
status. The unit will shut o when fully charged.
WARNING: IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not modify the plug in any way. When using electrical appliances, basic
safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
A.) Read all instructions.
B.) To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put this appliance in
water or other liquid. Do not operate knife in water or under running water.
C.) This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they are closely supervised and instructed concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Close
supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
D.) Turn the appliance “OFF”, then unplug from the outlet when not in use,
before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug,
grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
Permanently Installed – Make sure appliance is “OFF”
when not in use, before putting on or taking o parts, and before cleaning.
Disconnect when changing blades.
E.) Avoid contacting moving parts.
F.) Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions or, is dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact
the manufacturer at their customer service telephone number for
information on examination, repair, or adjustment.
G.) The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer
may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
H.) Do not use outdoors.
I.) Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch
hot surfaces.
J.) Do not let cord contact hot surface, including the stove.
K.) REMOVE BLADES BEFORE AND/OR DURING CHARGING.
DO NOT USE WHEN CHARGING.
L.) Do not touch surfaces that may be hot. Use handles or
knobs provided.
M.) Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in
a heated oven.
N.) Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
O.) Avoid contacting moving parts.
P.) Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. Always handle blades
with hand away from cutting edge. Always store blades with
cutting edge away from you.
Q.) Carefully route the power supply cord to avoid damage from
the knife blades.
