WHAT IS COVERED: Any defect in materials and workmanship.
FOR HOW LONG: Ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase.
WHAT WE ASK YOU TO DO: Team Products International, Inc. (“TPI”) will replace the
defective product within the ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase. The product
must first be returned with your sales receipt to the retailer. If the retailer’s return policy has
expired, TPI will replace the defective product. The customer is responsible for the shipping
charges to TPI, but TPI will incur the shipping charges on the replacement. When sending
your product include your name, address, phone number, copy of proof of date of purchase
(receipt), and a description of the operating problem. After receiving your product, we will ship
a replacement to your home or office within four weeks. Please return the defective product to
the following address:

WHAT WE WILL DO: If your product is defective and was not able to be returned within the
in store return policy date, but within ninety (90) days of the original purchase date we will
replace it at no charge to you. We suggest that you retain your original packing material in
the event you need to ship your product. When we replace your product, we may replace it
with a new or reconditioned one of the same or similar product. The replacement will only be
warranted ninety (90) days from the original date of receipt.
WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: AMONG OTHER THINGS THIS WARRANTY
DOES NOT COVER DEFECTS RESULTING FROM ACCIDENTS, DAMAGE WHILE IN
TRANSIT TO OUR SERVICE LOCATION, ALTERATIONS, UNAUTHORIZED REPAIR, FAILURE
TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS, MISUSE, FIRE, FLOOD, WAR, AND ACTS OF GOD. IF YOUR
PRODUCT IS NOT COVERED BY OUR WARRANTY, CALL OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE
DEPARTMENT AT (877) 227-5832 TO DISCUSS FURTHER OPTIONS. THIS LIMITED
WARRANTY IS THE ONLY ONE WE GIVE ON YOUR PRODUCT, AND IT SETS FORTH ALL
OUR RESPONSIBILITIES REGARDING YOUR PRODUCT. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES
WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION SET FORTH ABOVE.
LIMITATIONS: IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY (AN UNWRITTEN WARRANTY THAT
THE PRODUCT IS FIT FOR ORDINARY USE), ARE LIMITED TO NINETY (90) DAYS
FROM ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE. WE WILL NOT PAY FOR LOSS OF TIME,
INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF USE OF YOUR PRODUCT OR PROPERTY DAMAGE
CAUSED BY YOUR PRODUCT OR ITS FAILURE TO WORK, OR ANY OTHER INCIDENTAL
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY. SOME STATES DO
NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE
EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE
ABOVE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

other rights which may vary from state to state.

Welcome
This American Red Cross product has been carefully designed to give you
peace of mind while on the road. Please read this manual thoroughly before
operating your new American Red Cross product, as it contains the information
you need to become familiar with its features and obtain the performance that
you need during a roadside incident.
Please keep this manual on file for future reference.
About Your Auto Heater/Defroster
This American Red Cross product is designed to supplement your car’s internal
heating/defrosting system. It will provide auxiliary heat and defrosting capabilities
in the event of a road incident.
Location of Controls
1. On/Off switch
2. Dashboard mount
3. Retractable handle
4. Air way
5. Heater/Fan Defroster
6. Fuse holder
Mounting the Auto Heater/Defroster
You should mount the base in the center of your dashboard, with the Auto
Heater/Defroster facing the front windshield. See the image below for
suggested mounting location. Be sure to avoid contact with any airbags or
electrical controls for your vehicle. If you are unsure where these are located,
consult your owner’s manual or an auto repair
professional familiar with your vehicle make and
model.
Mounting Screws
Find appropriate location for the unit to be
mounted. Screw the 2 mounting screws
(included) through the mounting holes on the
dashboard mount directly to your dashboard.
Using Your Heater
Plug heater cord into your 12-volt power source.
Position the heater on your dash or other desired
location. Turn switch to Heat position. Your heater
uses a 20-amp fuse located in a fuse holder on the
cord. If necessary, replace with same fuse type and
rating only.
Using Your Fan
Plug fan cord into your 12-volt power source. Position the fan on your dash or
other desired location. Turn switch to Fan position. Your fan uses a 20-amp fuse
located in a fuse holder on the cord. If necessary, replace with same fuse type and
rating only.
Use as a Defroster
Plug heater cord into your 12-volt power source. Pull out retractable handle.
Turn switch to Heat position. Slowly wave over windshield until it is adequately
defrosted. Return the unit to its base before attempting to drive. If you operate
it on in the base, turn and point the Heater/Defroster at the windshield for best
results.

Note:
You should not attempt to drive until your windshield has been adequately
defrosted.
Cautions:
Do not block airway and openings of heater.
Unplug unit when not in use.
Use the heater with your engine on to avoid draining your battery.
Never leave engine running and/or heater on in an enclosed or poorly
ventilated area.
To prevent personal injury or property damage, do not try to drive while waving
the unit.

Important Warnings:
To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plug or unit in
water or other liquid.
Do not use if there is moisture on the cord, plug, airway or openings of the
unit.
Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children.
Unplug unit when not in use.
Do not operate if cord is damaged; inspect cord regularly.
Do not use unit for applications other than its intended use.
Never wrap cord around unit as this may damage cord.
Never use AC current to power this unit.
To prevent personal injury, do not attach this or any accessory on or near
airbags.
