1Refer to figure 1. Remove overhead bar bolt. Hold side panel up and align bolt holes
and insert 16277 (2.5”) bolt and 16302 washer. Attach 16300 nyloc nut. Do not
completely tighten. Insert 16301 u-bolt under top seat back bar and behind seat
cushion. Attach 16300 nyloc nuts to u-bolt. Do not completely tighten. Repeat with
opposite side panel. Side panels can hang freely for remainder of installation.
Note: If U-bolt installation is tight, loosen phillips head screws on seat back
cushion. Seat back cushion does not need removed.
2Hold crossbar between side panels. Insert (4x) 16270 screw and 16302 washer.
Attach 16300 nyloc nut as shown in figure 1. Proper finished installation can be
seen in figures 2 & 3.

3Insert 16306 shelf at angle and align channel nuts with channel. Insert opposite
end into channel as shown in figure 4. Channel nuts twist lock. Make sure the
channel nut is square in the channel as shown in figure 6. Tighten all fasteners
on the CrewMate™ at this time.

Attach 16360 small tool clamps and 16361 large tool clamps. Channel nuts twist
lock. Note: 2 clamps required per tool.
Position clamps for desired tool placement. Double check that all fasteners are
tight before use. Clamps can be rotated by removing the screws and placing in a
desired position as shown in figure 5.
Carefully cut out the corner of template 1 following the dotted line. Place edges of
template 1 on hard top back edges following directions on template 1. Using a
marker, trace the template 1 profile onto the hard top.
Using a Dremel® tool or equivalent device to cut plastic, carefully cut along the
drawn profile.
3Repeat steps above for the opposite side of the hard top. Flip over template page
for correct orientation on the opposite side of the hard top.
4Install hard top. Install 16265 CrewMate™ following the instructions provided.
Before attaching the CrewMate™, remove the hard top from the vehicle. Use the
provided templates to make cuts on the hard top.
Gloves, marker, eye protection, Dremel® with routing bit (recommended) or use drill,
2” hole saw drill bit and saw will be additionally required.

FOR UNITS WITH A HARD TOP INSTALLED
FOR UNITS WITH AN ENCLOSURE INSTALLED
16265 CrewMate™ UTV Rack installation with swing door enclosure or zipper door
enclosure, follow these additional steps:
Gloves, box cutter (or equivalent), marker, eye protection.
Before attaching the CrewMate™, install the enclosure onto the vehicle. Use the
provided templates to make cuts on enclosure.
1Using template 2, place circle over top, rear overhead bar attachment bolt head for
proper alignment. Lines should be towards the rear of vehicle.
2Using a marker and the lines from template 2, draw two small lines behind the stitch
seam to mark the boundaries of the first cut. Using template 2 connect the two
boundary lines by drawing a line between them.
3Using a cutting tool, carefully cut the enclosure along the line created in step 2.
4Using template 3 align one line with the cut made in step 3. The second line on
template 3 should be closer to the center of the vehicle. Using a marker, draw a small
line to mark where the second cut will be located.
5Use template 2 and a cutting tool to carefully make the second cut parallel and equal in
size to the first cut made then install side panel top mount to overhead bar following the
instructions provided. Let side panel remain suspended once top mount is attached.
6Align side panel bottom mount with seat back tube. Use side panel bottom mount holes
and marker to draw two dots on enclosure. Using a cutting tool, carefully cut small slits
in the enclosure where the two dots where marked and install the side panel bottom
mount to seat back following the instructions provided. Repeat the above steps for the
opposite side panel and install remaining 16265 CrewMate™ parts following the
instructions provided.

Vehicle Operation with Accessory Installed
Do not operate vehicle on 10 degree slopes or steeper with this accessory installed on the vehicle.
Always operate your vehicle at a safe speed that will allow you to maintain control.
Reduce speed when loaded with cargo. Heavy cargo load takes longer to stop.
Reduce speed and payload on hilly, rough, wet, slick or unstable ground.
Always make turns at a speed that will maintain control of vehicle. Never make turns at full speed. Reduce speed when turning empty
and reduce speed even more when turning loaded with cargo or when pulling a cargo load. The heavier the cargo load, the slower the
turn should be.
Make sure all gear or cargo is properly secured and tied down.
Weight specifications of this accessory are encompassed by and not to exceed the vehicle cargo weight ratings. (see Operator's Safety
Manual)
Never modify any parts on the vehicle without authorization. Unauthorized modifications will void warranty to all parts directly and
indirectly affected by the modification.
