MATERIALS
A 1 Main Crossbar.
B 1 Right Hand Sidearm.
C 1 Left Hand Sidearm
D 4 M12 x 35 x 1.75 Bolts C/W Nuts and Lock washers.
E 4 M10 x 110 x 1.5 Bolts C/W Nuts, Lock washers and 8 flat washers.
X 6 Existing fixings
Note: This towbar must be used witheither a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or ClassA50-1or A50-X towball, which
dimensionallyconforms toA50-1 with a ‘D’ and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
FITTING
1. No requirement to remove the bumper, locate crash beam fixings,3 off eachside andremove them.
2. On the nearside of crashbeam thereis a towing eye attachedbyfixings into lower chassis face, these will need to be
removed also. ( replacewhen completingfitting)
3. Pullcrashbeam rearward toward bumper, to makeroom to slidecrossbarupwards andbehind thecrashbeam,line up
the holes in the Part “A” with corresponding holes in the crash beam and rear panel, use existing fixings to loosely attach
Part ”A” .
4. Locate mounting points for side arms “B” and “C” loosely attach using fixings “E” ensuring they in turn line up with the
holes in the main crossbar, part “A” and bolt up using fixings “D”.
5. Tighten all fixings,and fittowball.
Important Notice: Vehicles manufactured before July 1st 2014 are NOT homologated for towing, and therefore
cannot be fitted with a towing bracket. Please check the vehicle vin plate for towing capacity, if none stated
then vehicle is not homologated for towing.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200
Nm Grade 10.9: M12 –120Nm, M10 –70Nm M8- 35Nm

Remarque : Cetattelagedoit être utiliséavecune boule de remorquage Witter(référenceproduit Z11) ouuneboulede
remorquageClasseA50-1 ou A50-X se conformant dimensionnellementà A50-1 avec une valeur ‘D’ et 'S' supérieure ou égale à
celle de l’attelage.
Veuillez-vous reporter aux données techniques du véhicule pour les limites de masse tractable et du poids admis sur la
boule, lesquelles sont à observer.
Les véhicules fabriqués avant le 1er juillet 2014 ne sont pas homologué pour le remorquage. Vérifier la capaciter de
remorquage du véhicule.
Installation
1. Iln’estpas nécessairede démonterlepare-chocs, localiser les fixations de la traverse de pare-chocs (trois de chaque
cotés)et enleverles.
2. Démonterl’anneau de remorquage.
3. Pousser latraverse de pare-chocsdanslepare-chocsde façonapouvoirinsérerlatraverseprincipale(A)entrela
traversedepare-chocs etlepanneau arrière et sans serrer,attacher latraversedepare-chocs etde l’attelageau
panneau arrièrea l’aidede lavisserie d’origineX .
4. Attacher sans serrerles bras latéraux (B) & (C) àl’aidedelavisserie EetD.
5. Remonterl’anneau de remorquage.
6. Serrer toute la visserieaucouple recommandé.
Couple de serrage: Boulons de Classe 8.8 : M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200 Nm
Classe 10.9: M12 –120Nm, M10 –70Nm M8- 35Nm
