Tips &Tricks
The TIGHT METAL works best in front of a clean channel or as a
preamp.
Another option –Try connecting the output of theTIGHT ROCK into
the effect return of the amp, bypassing the preamp for the most
headroom.
TheThrash EQ setting cuts mids and extends the highs. For more bass,
try turning the Tone down and Volume up.
When using extremely high settings on theTight control, it may be
necessary to increase your amp’s bass control.
Remember-There is no right or wrong. If it sounds good, it is good!
Volume – Master volume
Tone - Adjusts highs up and down to balance with
lows. 12 o’clock is neutral.
Gain - Adjusts distortion. Set lower for vintage rock
tones, higher for modern, heavier tones.
EQ Switch – Select tone stack. Smooth warms high
end.
Noise Gate –Turn up to reduce hum and/or noise.
Tight Switch –Tight for aggressive, chunky attack.
Fat for a thicker, harmonically rich, distortion tone.
DC Jack – 9-18V, for 50W to 100W amp tone. Use
(-) center negative pin. (Power adapter not included)
