Meet MAX by AMX, the Integrated Music Server (MAX - IMS). MAX works
to keep your library of CDs simple to use, well organized, and always fun
– wherever you are, whenever you want. From single to multi-room music
systems, MAX manages your ever-growing music collection with amazing
efficiency. Add as many CDs as you desire, searching and selecting your
favorite tracks quickly and effortlessly.
HIGHEST AUDIO STANDARD
MAX only knows one way to achieve the best possible audio – through
native CD quality. Compared to “compressed” MP3 files, native CD
quality represents the highest standard of sound possible. MAX preserves
the depth, dynamics and quality of the original music. Built with a robust
internal hard drive, MAX has the ability to categorize and manage from
500 CDs to beyond 2,500. Of course, if you also have an existing MP3
collection, MAX is capable of playing this file format without any
compatibility issues.
MUSIC FOR ALL
Even the latest CD changers only offer the option to play one CD at a
time. MAX welcomes you to the future of distributing music, where
multiple CDs can be selected simultaneously, from anywhere at any time.

MAX - IMS - INTEGRATED MUSIC SERVER
OVERVIEW
• Hard drive based music server with lossless compression to
allow playback at full CD quality.
• Progressive text search locates the disc you're looking
for instantly.
• Control any MAX product over Ethernet or RS-232 via your
AMX or Crestron control System, a Windows PC, or an on-
screen interface.
• Includes powerful Windows software for PC control. CD
recognition is available instantly from the CD database within
the unit. The CD database is updated monthly as well as any
software upgrades and web based technical support.
• Two units can be joined together to allow for greater capacity
and more outputs.
• Available with 2 or 4 independent audio outputs
(analog and S/PDIF digital).
• Includes CD-RW drive for creating custom CDs.
