Fig 2 : Condensate will drain into the 14
liter internal tank Fig 6 :
This automatically starts and stops the
machines compressor when pre-set
humidity levels are reached.
Many dehumidifying applications require
humidity to be controlled at set relative
humidity levels (RH) to avoid shrinkage of
materials, cracking plaster, furniture etc.
The FD40 S2 has been designed taking this
into account and thanks to the built in
humidistat you will be able to control the
humidity levels as desired in the room.
Fig 3 :
Switch on the unit via the front panel
and set the desired humidity via the up
and down arrows
Disconnect from electrical supply when not in use.
Fig 5 : The condensate pump is close
coupled electrically to the machine via a built
in auxiliary connection. Remove the internal
tank at the back of the unit and then the
power plug can be seen. On the front control
panel you must push the button that says
pump. This will avoid the unit from stopping
when you remove the internal tank.
Humidity Control
Set the Humidistat using the up and down
arrows to the desired RH%. The lowest set
RH% is 30% but if you require the RH% to
be lower push the arrow button two times
below 30% and the display will change to
CONT which means continuous running

The FD40 S2 can be supplied with a separate
condensate pump.
