SHIPPING CONTAINER INSPECTION
1 . Carefullyexaminetheshippingcontainerforexternaldamage. Whendamageisnoted,notifythe
deliverycarrierimmediately. Save allpackingmaterialsfordamageclaimexamination.
2 . If no external damage is noted, remove the shippingcontainerfromthefryerandexaminethefryer
carefullyfordamage. Placethefryerin asafelocation,ifdamageisnoted,sothatthefreightdamage
claimsadjustercanexaminethefryer.
3 . Savetheshippingcontainerforuseduringleg/casterinstallation. RefertotheInstallationInstructions
forthat procedure.

Please make sure that your desired fryer location has gas
supply factors that are suitable for this product:

Please make sure that your desired fryer location has electrical
supply factors that are suitable for this product:

Installadedicated,three-prong,outlet/receptacle
within5 feet of the desired fryer location to allow
the fryer’spower cable to be connected. Ensure
that the green (ground) wire of the fryer’s power
cableisattachedtothefryer’sstructure, providing
anelectricalground in accordance withapplicable
localcodes,orintheabsenceof local codes,with
the NationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70
(latestedition)or theCanadianElectrical Code,
CSAC22.1 (latest edition)andCSA C22.2(latest

Electrical Grounding Instructions

Thisapplianceisequippedwith a three-
prong (grounding) plug for your protec-
tion against shock hazard, and should
be plugged directly into a properly
grounded, three-prong receptacle . DO

valvefromthegassupplypipingsystemduring
anypressuretestingofthegassupplysystemat
testpressures inexcessof½psig(3.45kPa).
b. Isolatethefryerfromthegas supplypiping
systemduringanypressuretestingofthegas
supplysystemattestpressuresequaltoorless
than½psig (3.45 kPa).
c . Forfryersutilizingfloorcasters,thefryerinstal-

hood that conducts combustion pro-
ducts outside the building. Venting
must comply with ANSI/NFPA 96
(latest edition).

INSTALLATION
Installthefryerinaccordancewiththepreceding
CodeRequirements,aswellasthefollowing
InstallationRequirements.
1. DONOTinstallthisfryerinamobilehome,
trailer,orrecreationalvehicle.
2. Installthisfryerinalocationthathasthefryer’s
electricalreceptacle nearby(5 feetorless
away)toavoidstrainingthefryer’spower
cord . (SeeFigure2.)
3. Installthisfryerinalocationthatallowsittobe
movedawayfromotheradjacentappliances
forcleaningandmaintenance.
NOTE: Ifthefryerisinstalledamong
arow ofappliances(“banked”),with
itsonlyconvenientmovementforward,
sufficientroommustbeavailablein
frontofthe fryertopermit itssepara-
tion fromadjacent appliancesfor
cleaningandmaintenance.

1 . Flattentheshippingcarton(afterunpackingthe
fryerand itspartsand accessories)forfryer
surfaceprotectionduringleginstallation.
2. Positionthesideofthefryerflatonthecarton,
exposingthefryerbottommountingbrackets
forleginstallation,asshowninFigure3.
3 . Placethelegmountingplateflushagainstthe
mountingbracketonthefryerbottom,while
aligningthemountingholes.
4.Insertonemountingboltthroughaflatwasher
andthenthroughtheproperholeinthefryer
mountingbracketandthroughthelegmounting
plate.
REQUIREMENTS
4. Tightlyfastenthelegs (orcasters)tothebot-
tomofthefryerusingthesuppliedhardware,to
preventthefryerfromtipping,wobblingor
rockingwhenitisinitsdesiredlocation. Refer
tothefollowingLegInstallationInstructions
or CasterInstallationInstructionsfor leg
orcasterattachmentandlevelinginformation.

fryerconnector.
4 . Confirmthatthefryercannotmovefarenough
awayfromthewalltocauseexcessivemove-
mentoftheflexiblegaslineoritsassociated
connectors.
GAS & ELECTRIC CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS
Installingyour ANETS Fryerrequires thefol-
lowingprocedure, afterits legs orcastersarepro-
perlyattachedand itisin itsdesired location.
1 . Ensurethatthegascontrolvalveknobinthe
fryerhasitsOFFpositionnexttothevalve
mark.

. Ensurethatthegassupplyinletlinevalveis
closed(handlecrosswisetothe linedirection).
3 . Ensurethatthecircuit breakerdedicated to
thisfryeris OFFandthatallfryercontrolsare
set to OFF.
4 . Connectthe¾”gassupplylinetothegasline
adapteron thelowerrear ofthefryer.

tion,afterthefryerisinitsdesiredlocation.
6 . Plugthefryer’selectricpowercordplug into
thereceptaclespecifiedforthisfryer. Switch
the circuit breaker to ON.
