The appliance is fitted with the controls for use of its
main functions.
A)Heating element control knob: for turning the
heating elements off and on and setting their lev-
el.
B)Water control knob: for filling the well in the var-
ious ways available.
C)Mains light: indicates that the appliance is re-
ceiving electrical power.
D)Thermostat light: indicates that safety ther-
mostats have been tripped.
E)Heating element pilot light: indicates that
the heating elements have switched on after
the well has filled (only for version
0G1CP1EC).
Lighting
1 - Turn on the appliance's circuit breaker to con-
nect it to the electrical mains.
2 - Fill the well (see page 8).
3 - Turn the knob (A) to setting 1 to turn on the
heating elements at the maximum power and
bring liquids to the boil more quickly. The mains
light (C) comes on.
4 - Turn the knob (A) to one of the other settings, to
reduce the heating element power to a lower
level.
Turning off
1 - Turn off the water supply (see page 8).
2 - Turn the knob (A) to setting 3 to switch off the
heating elements.
3 - Turn off the appliance's circuit breaker to dis-
connect it from the electrical mains.
