1.
Remove the back cabinet.
a. Remove the eight screws (four on each side of the
instrument) that secure the back cabinet onto the
instrument using a 1/8” Allen wrench. Set aside
the screws for later use.
b. Lift up, then pull back so the handles on each side
slide out of the notched groove.
2.
Remove the front plate by unscrewing the four
attachment screws with a 1/8inch Allen wrench. Set
the screws aside.

With the front plate removed, observe the sight
glass assembly.
4.
Viewing from the back panel, cut the zip ties from
the Sight Glass Assembly’s tri-fold tubing.
5.
Use a boxcutter to cut small slits in the tubing to
remove all three from their connections.

6.
Remove all three tubes from their connections.
7.
Return to the front of the instrument and take hold
of the sight glass assembly by the silver plate.
There is a notch to accommodate your hand.
Pull the assembly out and away from the
instrument.
8.
Select the new Sight Glass Assembly (X85)
Note: Be sure not to bend or twist the tube, as kinks
can cause damage to the line.

9.
Install the new Sight Glass Assembly by inserting the
bottom tube through the copper coil and pushing
the two remaining tubes over the clamp arm toward
the back of the instrument.
10.
Install the new tubes over their correlating
connections. Then, install new zip ties.
Notes: If pairing proves difficult, users may use a
blunt tool to slightly stretch the tubing very
carefully.
There are two types of tubing in this assembly.
Ensure not to crinkle the inner linings during
handling and installation.

Reinstall the front plate with the original screws
earlier set aside.
