What is Mobile WiMAX IQproducer?
The MX370105A Mobile WiMAX IQproducer is GUI-driven PC application software
for setting parameters and generating waveform patterns in accordance with the
IEEE802.16e-2005 Wireless MAN-OFDMA MAC/PHY standard.
Parameters are set freely at the PC to generate waveform data. The generated
waveform data is transferred to the MG3700A using a Compact Flash card or via a
LAN and the MG3700A main frame outputs the required waveform by selecting the
waveform data.

Some parameters of the MAC management messages, such as DL/UL-MAP,
DCD/UCD, etc., can be set. The generated waveform pattern can be used for part*
of the IEEE802.16e tests (8.4.13 Receiver Requirement tests).
(*Function tests (HO, etc.) that cannot be performed using only a signal generator
are excluded.)

The unlicensed software will run on the PC to test waveform pattern generation but an unlicensed MG3700A cannot

MG3700A-031 High-speed BER test function supports the BER measurement that uses test
message of WiMAX. The figure below shows the BER measurement screen of MG3700A.
. The file extension is .bpn.
. The file must be a binary text file.
. The number of characters (excluding LF) is 8 to 1024.
When F3: Load User Pattern is clicked, the pattern
file is read from the CF card or main frame HDD.
