PRODUCT DETAILS
•The dehumidifier is used to remove excessive moisture from the air.
•The resulting reduction in relative humidity protects buildings and their contents from the adverse effects of excess humidity.
•The environmentally friendly R290 is used as the refrigerant. R290 has no damaging influence on the ozone layer (ODP),
has a negligible greenhouse effect (GWP) and is available worldwide. Because of its efficient energy properties, R290 is
highly suitable as a coolant for this application.

PRIOR TO OPERATION
•Place the dehumidifier in an upright position on a stable, flat surface.
•Ensure the dehumidifier is at a safe distance at least 50cm away from a wall or object or furniture at the back and atleast
20 cm away from objects in other directions.
•Supply power should be in correspondence with the value on the nameplate. The power outlet needs to be grounded. Ensure
the tank is correctly fitted. If the tank is full or not in place, the tank full indicator light comes on and the dehumidifier will
stop working.
•Turn on the power and run the machine as per the operating instructions.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Important note: The humidity reading display at the centre of the control panel displays the room humidity level.
a. CO indicates the machine is running in continuous dehumidifying mode irrespective of the room’s humidity level.
b. The preferred humidity level can be set by using the up and down arrow buttons as described in the “Humidity Setting”
section.
NOTE: If the set humidity is higher than the room’s humidity, the unit will automatically be forced to shutdown. This can
take a few minutes until the unit senses the room humidity level. The fan would run for a bit longer, after which the unit
turns off. If left unattended, the unit will automatically restart in about 17 minutes to sense the room humidity. If the room
humidity is still less than the set humidity, the unit will shutdown and the cycle repeats. However if the room humidity is
greater than the set humidity , the unit will start functioning.
c. If you would like to know whether the unit runs in CO mode or if a humidity level has been set, press up or down arrow
button once. The display will either indicate CO or the set humidity level for 2 seconds, after which it will display the room
humidity level.
NOTE:
1. In the laundry setting, the humidity reading display will show the room humidity level and this cannot be changed as the
unit will be running in the continuous dehumidification mode.
2. In the Child Lock setting, LC will be shown in the humidity reading display.

Defrost Mode (Low Temperature Defrost Indicator)
When the room temperature is too low, dehumidifier will enter into the defrost mode. The unit will run with high fan speed without
dehumidifying. The evaporator in the device might require defrosting in low temperatures. This will happen automatically and will
last to a maximum of up to 5 minutes. At this time, the dehumidifying function will stop and defrost indicator will be
on.
CAUTION: Do not turn OFF the unit during the defrosting operation.
NOTE ON TEMPERATURE:The dehumidifier does not have a cooling function. It produces heat during operation that could
cause the room temperature to rise by between 1oC and 4oC. Though this is a small increase, it could be noticeable in small/closed
spaces such as a cabinet or small room. This combined with the other appliances including direct sun’s radiation could raise the
room temperature.
Auto Shut-Off with Water Tank Full Indicator
The unit will stop working when the water tank is full or if the water tank is not installed properly. The dehumidifying function
will stop and the tank full indicator will be on. Except for the power button, all other buttons will be invalid. Refer to “Removing
and emptying the tank” section to empty and reinstall the tank properly.
Memory Function
a. If the unit is unplugged directly or if there is a power cut, when reconnected back to the power supply, the dehumidifier will
run in the same mode as before the shutdown. The timer setting will be retained, if it was on before the shutdown.
b. When the unit is switched off using the power button, and switched back on using the power button, the dehumidifier will
run in the same mode prior to the shutdown. However, the timer setting will be cancelled.
c. If the unit is switched off and the power cord is unplugged, then when the unit is reconnected to the power supply and
switched backed on, the unit will run in the factory pre-set mode. This would be the same mode in which the unit started
working the first time. The memory function will not work in this case.

(hose included) to the unit to drain continuously.
Note: The hose should have an inner diameter of 14 mm.
1. Remove the water tank. Refer to “Removing and emptying the tank” section.

1. Unplug the unit from the wall socket.
2. Clean the housing with a soft dry cloth. If the unit is extremely dirty, use a mild
cleaning detergent. Wipe the dehumidifier with a slightly damp cloth. Never spray
water or harsh chemicals on the dehumidifier.
3. Using the slot on the top at the back of the unit (as shown in the figure), gently
remove the filter. Clean the filter using a damp cloth with warm soapy water (no hotter
than 400C) or using a vacuum cleaner.
4. Rinse and dry the filter completely before installing back to the dehumidifier.
NOTE: Make sure that the filter is cleaned every two-weeks for optimal performance. The dehumidifying capacity may reduce
if the filter net is clogged with dust.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
If you do not intend to use the dehumidifier for a long time, follow the steps below:
1. Remove the plug from the socket. Empty the tank. Dry the tank and the dehumidifier completely.
Note: Complete drying may take a couple of days.
2. Clean the air filter.
3. Check the dehumidifier for perfect condition to ensure a safe use of it after a long period of storage.
4. Pack the device with the original packaging.
5. Store the dehumidifier in a dust-free environment, free from direct sunlight, preferably covered with a sheet of plastic.

ventilated.
Make sure that the room is within the
operating parameters of the device and if
needed, close off the cross-ventilation in the
room to improve the dehumidification.
Temperature in the room is too low
causing less dehumidification.
Raise the temperature of the room by closing
off ventilation and heating up, if needed using
non-steam producing heating appliances.
Set humidity in the unit is higher than
the room humidity Set the humidity lower than room humidity
4
Dehumidifier is
