Before you start building look through the build manual
so that you’ll be familiar with the building process and
you won’t run into any surprises!

00. Orient the PCB as seen on the left
01. Solder the V2164M VCA in place
(oriented to the top)
02. Solder the five TL072s
Look out for their orientation!
03. Solder the single LM4040 10V IC

05. Solder the two 1n5819 diodes
The marking should be on the left!
06. Solder the single 100 ohm resistor
(This one sets the jack LED brightness)
This is optional depending on if you want the jack
LEDs or not.
07. Solder the eight 510 ohm resistors

20. Solder the six 100nF capacitors
21. Solder the four 470nF capacitors
22. Solder the two 22uF capacitors
Orientation matters! Match up the silkscreen print
with the shape of the parts!
23. Solder the two ferrite beads
24. Solder the six SMD LEDs
Watch out for their orientation!
These are optional depending on if you want the jack
LEDs or not.

25. Solder the two single pin headers
These are optional depending on if you want to chain
this module with other DVCAs.
26. Solder the single 1x2 pin header
You could leave this if you don’t want the jack LEDs.
27. Solder the 2x5 pin power header
28. Flip the board
29. Place the pots, LEDs and jacks. Now put on the front
panel and tighten the nuts on the jacks and pots.
Align the LEDs in the holes as you like them. Solder!
You are done with building! Congratulations!
