HEALTH & SAFETY INFORMATION

The headset is connected to PC/console/
other device with 1 cable that has 3 jointers
In order to play games, please plug the 3 jointers all into
your PC/console/other device
In order to watch movies, please do not plug the red USB connector
( the red USB connector is used as a mouse pointer - head tracking )

Select Extend these displays in Multiple Displays and click Apply
Right click on the desktop and select Screen resolution

Select ANTVR AK1 in display and Portrait in orientation
Click Keep changes

Click Keep changes
If you check the resolution, ANTVR AK1 may display 1920x1080 portrait
or 1920x1080 landscape ( Flipped ), which are both correct
You don’t need to change the settings next time
Select 1920x1080 in resolution and click Apply

If the PC is not set as above,
the display orientation may be incorrect,
the image may not be clear and
other display problems may occur
Please unplug all connectors after using
the headset, then store it carefully
to keep it dust free
If the game cannot start in the headset ( but starts on the PC screen ),
you can unplug other monitors or make ANTVR AK1 your Main display

3This mode is specifically for *HSBS 3D images, which is the worldwide
standard 3D format and is used in 3D games and 3D movies.
1. For 3D games, switch on 3D option and play it directly with the ANTVR
headset.
MODE B
2. For other games, convert them into *HSBS format by Nvidia 3D vision or
Tridef (Recommended). For example, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Couter-Strike,
Resident Evil, Assassin’s Creed, Need for Speed etc.

This mode is for playing 2D games and watching 2D movies. It duplicates
compressed images for both eyes, so text may not be clear in this case.
MODE C
If you want to read text clearly:
While using your PC, you can press + to switch on the desktop magnifier.
You can rotate your head to see other parts of the screen.

Age limit
Children below 7 years old should not be allowed to use the product. Children, 7 years old
and older should use this product under the supervision of adults. To protect children from
potential harm to their vision, sense of balance and hand-eye coordination, usage time
should be limited and sufficient rest ensured. To reduce possible physical impairment,
guardians must pay close attention to children’s reaction after using the product.
Before using the helmet
• Please read the the setup & instructions manual and health & safety information.
• Configure the personal settings for the helmet to lower the risk of discomfort.
• More precautions are needed for those who tend to develop motion sickness in the real world.
• The pregnant, the elderly, those who have mental illness, heart problems, or other severe health
problems should consult their doctor before using.
General instructions and precautions
The product could cause injury or discomfort if not handled properly; please always follow
the instructions below.
• Use in a safe environment. The helmet brings you into a virtual reality world and takes
away your perception of real surroundings. Therefor, please remain sitting when using
the helmet, and be careful of anything that may trip or run into you. Do not use the product
near windows, stairs or balconies. Never use the helmet while walking or biking.
• Considering different users’ pupil distance. The screen in the helmet can be adjusted
backwards and forwards in the range of 62-68 cm. If you feel uncomfortable after
adjustment, please stop using the helmet.
• Glasses or contact lens wearers can use the helmet normally.
• Please wear the helmet properly.
• Gradually increase the time of experience if it is the first time using the helmet. Try to
turn your head and observe surroundings in virtual reality, and get accustomed to the virtual
world slowly.
• Users in a state of fatigue. sleepiness, anxiety, under the influence of alcohol or drugs,
suffering cold, flu, digestion problems, dizziness or headache, do not use the product.
• Get enough rest (10-15 min) after continuous use of 30 minutes. Anyone who easily
feels dizzy should take more rest.
• Do not expose yourself to high volume sound, which may impair your hearing ability.

Discomfort
Remove the headset immediately when you experience dizziness, loss of awareness, eye
strain, muscle twitch, vision blur, loss of direction, loss of balance, sweating, increased
salivation, headache, nausea, thirst, fatigue, or any symptoms relevant to motion sickness.
• Before complete recovery from discomfort, do not drive, operate machinery or engage in
any other activity where careful attention is needed.
• Do not use the helmet again until any symptoms of discomfort have subsided for several
hours. Configure the helmet again before using it.
• Some specific content may also cause discomfort.
• If you have any severe or persistent feeling of discomfort, please consult your doctor.
Dizziness
A small possibility becoming dizzy, nauseous or blacking out may exist among a few
people. The same or similar symptoms may also happen when they watch TV, play video
games or experience virtual reality. Children and young adults under 20 years old may
more easily become dizzy. Please pause usage immediately after the appearance of such
discomforts. Any users suffering blurred vision, dizziness or any other discomfort should
consult their doctor. Some people will feel uncomfortable for a short time after using the
product, which could impair users’ hand-eye coordination or multitasking. Also be aware of
injuries in the real world.
Repetitive stress harm
Playing video games for a long time may result in injury to muscles, joints or skin. Once
you feel tired or uncomfortable, do not continue using the product before sufficient rest. If
the symptoms last, please consult your doctor.
Radio interference
Radio frequency signals emitted from the headset may interrupt the function of nearby
electronics including cardiac pacemakers. Users with a pacemaker or other implanted
electronics should consult their doctor and device manufacturer.
Electric shock
To reduce the risk of electric shock
• Do not place the power charger in liquid or a humid environment.
• Shut off the power before cleaning and clean only with dry cloth.
• Keep the power charger far from fire or heat sources.
• Do not use the product if you notice any damage to the skin of the cable.
• Do not use a power charger other than the one provided.
Exposure to sunlight
Keep the helmet out of direct exposure to sunlight that may cause damage to the product.
Moisture condensation
Moisture in the air can condese into droplets on the surface of glass or metal. The sudden
change of temperature may cause the information of dew on the proudct surface. to avoid
damage to your product, do not use it when you find any dew on its surface.
