LIMITED WARRANTY
All equipment which is sold under ANVIL trademark and used for
commercial purposes is warranted against defects in materials and
workmanship. The warranty runs for two years from the date of
original installation and is for the benet of the original purchaser
only. All other Warranties ,expressed or implied , statutory or
otherwise, including without limitations any implied Warranty of
Merchantability or tness for purpose are excluded .The Seller shall
in no event be liable for direct,indirect or consequential damages in
connection with ANVIL commercial products.
The Sellers obligation under this Warranty is limited to the
repair of defects without charge. Defective units must be taken or
shipped,transportation charges prepaid,to ANVIL.
This Warranty is not eective if damage occurs because of
accident,carelessness,improper installation,lack of proper
set-up,supervision when required or if the equipment is installed or
operated in any manner contrary to the installation and
operating instructions. In these cases,repairs will be made at a
reasonable cost. Work performed by unauthorized personnel or
unauthorized service agencies using non Anvil spares voids this
Warranty.

GENERAL INSTALLATION AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Install the toaster in the most convenient location for ease of
cleaning, maintenance and general operation. If this appliance is
to be positioned in close proximity to a wall, partitions, kitchen
furniture, decorative nishes, etc. it is recommended that they
be made of non-combustible heat insulating material, and the
closest attention be paid to re prevention regulations.
2. Place the bread into the respective slots in the toaster carriage
and lift the bakelite knob.
3. For optimized usage, the Anvil 4 and 6 slice toasters have the
option of variable slice settings. This enables the units to be set
for two, four or on the TSK 0006 six slices, depending on
requirements (See diagram A) .The number of slices to be
toasted for each appliance respectively can be selected by
positioning the rocker switch to the required setting (See
diagram B).
4. Set the timer to the desired toasting time required. The
respective elements will immediately switch on as well as the
“TIMER” pilot light. An audible “TING” will also sound at the end
of the time cycle.
5. When the time has elapsed, the respective toaster elements, as
well as the “TIMER” pilot light will switch o.

PROTECTING AGAINST LOSS FROM CONCEALED DAMAGE.

BY THE CARRIER.
UNPACKING
Unpack the product and check for any damage incurred during
transit. This should be reported to the responsible carrier, railway or
postal authority, and a request for a damage report should be made.

CLEANING
1. Always ensure that the unit is disconnected from the mains
power supply before cleaning
2. This toaster should not be cleaned with a water jet or immersed
in water. Use only a damp cloth or sponge dipped in soapy
water.
3. Wipe o the unit with a dry cloth and wait at least half an hour
before re-connecting to the mains outlet.
4. Remove the crumb tray from the unit by pulling forward.
5. Do not use a sharp knife or object to dislodge toasted slices
from the carriage as this may damage the elements and invali-
date the warranty
THIS APPLIANCE SHOULD NOT BE CLEANED
WITH A WATER JET OR IMMERSED IN WATER.
USE ONLY A DAMP CLOTH OR SPONGE DIPPED
IN SOAPY WATER. DO NOT USE STEEL-WOOL

SAFETY
1. The toaster is designed to operate on alternating
current only (A.C.)
DO NOT CONNECT TO DIRECT CURRENT (D.C.).
2. Care should be taken when operating this appliance
as HOT SURFACES are present which may cause burns.
3. Models TSK0004 and TSK0006 can be connected to an individual
15A mains outlet. DO NOT OVERLOAD CIRCUIT
4. If the power supply cord is damaged it must be replaced with a
new cord assembly available from the suppliers agent.
5. Ensure that the equipment and the power supply cord does not
come into contact with hot surfaces.
6. Supervision is necessary when the appliance is used in close
proximity to children.
7. Use only earthed outlets matching the serial plate voltage.
8. Have equipment installed by a qualied personnel in accordance
with local codes and ordinances.
9. Use equipment in a at level position.
10. Do not operate unattended
11. The equipment may be hot, even though the pilot light is not on.
12. Do not operate if equipment has been damaged or is malfunc-
tioning in any way.
