λChapter 1. Introduction
Thanks for your purchase of the Apacer Audio MP3 Player.
Before operating the unit, please read this manual thoroughly and keep it for future
reference. This manual will help you learn to use many of the exciting features of
this device and make your experience more enjoyable.
This manual contains important safety measurements and operational information,
so please read all the information carefully before you use the device in order to
avoid any unexpected accidents.

λChapter 5. Basic Functions
 Power On/ Off
Power on: Press and hold the button for 3 seconds. Power is turned on.
Power off: Press and hold the button for 3 seconds. Power is turned off.
 Hold Function
Follow the below steps to enable Hold function to avoid the accidental operation.
Hold on: Press and hold the key to lock all key.
Hold off: Press and hold the key to unlock.
Note: Once the Hold function is enabled, it will prompt LOCK signal when any key
is pressed.

1. Connect the USB cable to your MP3 player, and then connect the other end
of USB cable to the USB port on your PC.
2. Select and organize files and folders in preparation for transfer to your MP3
player.
 Volume Control
In the Music playing mode, short press the key or key to increase or
decrease the volume.
λChapter 6. System Menu
 Main menu setup
1. Press and hold the key to enter the main menu under any status after
your turning on your player.
2. Press the or key to select: MP3 player; Setting; Version.
3. Press the key to enter into the following setting:
 MP3 PLAYER Mode
See Listen to Music section.
 Setting Mode
See Setting Mode section.
 Version
1. Select “Version“ option in the Main menu , press key to enter.
2. You can see firmware version.
3. Press key again to exit.
λChapter 7. Listen to Music
 Music Playing/Stop
1. Press and hold the key to power on the player.
2. Press the key to play MP3 file, Press the key again to pause.
Play Pause

3. In playing or pause mode, press the or key to select previous or next
track.
4. In playing mode, keep press the or key to fast rewind or fast forward
the current track.
 Music settings
1. In Music mode, press and hold the key for 2 seconds to stop.
2. In stop mode, press the or key to select track or file folder, press to
play your choosed track or folder.
Note :
1. If you want to play tracks in the memory card, please enter “Storage “option in the
Setting menu and select “SD Card“ option in advance.
2. “ DIR “ icon display folder indicator , press to enter this folder for selecting
track.
3. “ DIR .. “ icon display exit indicator, press to exit this folder .
 Lyrics Display
1. Save the lyrics files into your MP3 player with the same name as the music
file, in *.LRC format.
2. The lyric of the music will display with the music playing.
The player only supports the Lyric Synchronous Display of for files that share the
same name as the MP3 format file, e.g., the for a music file is named “Angel.mp3”,
the LRC file must be named “Angel.Irc”, they must also be in the same directory.
λChapter 8. Setting mode
1. In the Main menu, press the or key to select “Setting” option, press
the key to enter.
2. Press the or key to select: EQ mode, Repeat mode, Screen ,
Language , Delete file , Auto Off , Storage , press the key to enter.
 Equalizer setting
1. Select “EQ mode“ option in the Setting menu, press key to enter.

2. Press the or key to select: Normal, Rock, Jazz, Classic, Pop, Bass,
Exit.
3. Press key to select and save.
 Repeat Mode
1. Select “Repeat mode“ option in the Setting menu, press key to enter:
2. Press the or key to select: Normal, One, All, Random, Exit.
3. Press key to select and save.
 Screen
1. Select “Screen“ option in the Setting menu, press key to enter.
2. Select “Contrast” option ,press key to enter
3. Press the or key to select: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 & Exit.
4. Press key to select and save .
5. Select “Back light” option in the Screen menu, press key to enter.
6. Press the or key to select: 3 sec; 5 sec ; 10 sec & exit .
7. Press key to select and save.

 Language
1. Select “Language” option in the Setting menu, press the key to enter.
2. Press the or key to select the desired language.
3. Press the key to confirm your selection.
 Delete file
1.Select “Delete file“ option in the Setting menu, press key to enter.
2.Press the or key to select file. Press to delete.
3.Press or to exit.
 Auto Off
1. Select “Auto Off “ option in the Setting menu, press key to enter:
2. Press the or key to select: 2 min, 5 min, 10 min, 15 min, No, Exit.
3. Press key to select and save.
 Storage
1. Select “Storage” option in the Setting menu, press the key to enter.
2. Press the or key to select music files from Flash (built-in memory) or
SD card (memory card).

3. Press key save and exit.
λChapter 9. Troubleshooting
If a malfunction is experienced, check the following.
Problem Causes
 Power will not turn on Power will not turn on if the AAA battery is not well
placed in right direction.
 Power automatically turn off The power is automatically turned off when the
battery is low or running out. Please replace a new
one.
 The screen will not turn on  The screen may not be visible under direct
sunlight.
 Check if you have selected the “Power Save”
setting.
 Playing is disabled  Check if the desired file has been saved in the
memory.
 Check if the music file is correct or the format is
not supported.
 Check if there is enough battery power.
 No music or sound  Check if the volume is not reduced to the 0 level.
 Check that the earphones are connected well
and keep the earphones clean.
 Corrupted music files may result in unplayability,
please confirm the integrity of the files. Re-
format the disk.
 Connection to PC is disabled  Insert the USB cable well after the power is
turned on, or plug in the player again via USB
cable.
 Correctly reinstall the driver again.
 Abnormal Play Time Displayed
while playing
Check if that the file is in VBR (Variable Bit Rate)
format
 Actual memory capacity is
different from what is listed
on package
Small discrepancies are due to different file formats
and algorithms used by various operating systems.
 Abnormal wording or file name
display
Make sure that you have selected the correct
language.
