Safety Instructions
For your own safety and for the operational safety of the device, please read the following
instructions before commissioning the TS400-D133 operator module.
Cleaning:
Do not use any liquid cleaners or corrosive agents but only a damp cloth.
Installation:
Installation may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
Please regard the maximum cable length for the ethernet or serial connection.
Observe the maximum supply voltage and the polarization. Too high supply voltage will
destroy the device.
Assembly:
The TS400-D133 operator module must not be mounted unprotected outdoors, in rooms
with high humidity or in contact with condensation water.
When installing on uneven surfaces, measures must be taken to restore dust tightness.

Assembly
The TS400-D133 operator module can be mounted on a wall bracket or monitor arm using a
100x100mm VESA mounting device. A mounting bracket is available for installation in
equipment or cabinet fronts.
Installation in fronts:
The installation bracket 832.700.494 (accessory) is required for installation in fronts.
The required front cut-out is 180x310mm.
The two brackets are attached to the op-
erator module with the M5x6mm screws.
The operator module is fixed in the front
with the M5x70mm screws.
Wall mounting:
For wall mounting, the wall bracket 832.700.490 (accessory) is required.
The bracket is attached to the operator
module with three M4x6mm screws.
The counterpart is fixed to the wall.
The operator module is inserted into the
holder from top to bottom and locked with
the locking screws.

Connection:
The TS400-D133 operator module is preferably connected to the TS400 CPU processor
module via LAN2 to the Technet. Alternatively, the connection can be established with a seri-
al null-modem cable. The power supply can either be provided by 24VDC on the screw con-
nector 1. or by a 12VDC desktop power supply on the connector 2.

3: LAN connection
Network connector for connection to the TS400 CPU processor module. The bidirectional
network communication channel to the TS400 CPU must be ensured.
4: Serial connection
Serial port for connection to the TS400 CPU processor module. The use of the visualization
can be limited due to the data transfer rate.
The other connections not described are not used.

Operation:
After switching on the supply voltage, the power switch must be pressed and the TS400-
D133 operator module switches on. The last status is stored and restored after an interrup-
tion of the supply voltage. No further user intervention is therefore necessary during nominal
operation.
After the boot process the Linux user login appears. You do not need to log in here; the
TS400-D133 operator module is integrated and parameterized in the configuration interface
of the TS400.
Operation of the TS400 user interface is described in the TS400 manual.
