1 About this guide
1.1 Introduction
The α811 (RF D Smart Reader) provides highest quality RF D reading performance with default or optional
features, WiFi, Bluetooth, 2D scanner, 3G, Camera, NFC. With Android OS, users are able to experience
efficient working performance.
This guide is designed for helping users to operate α811 effectively. Please read the guide carefully before
using α811.

Before you use the α811, please read this chapter of information and keep your child aware of this
information. For detailed information, please refer to the safety guidelines.
Do not use α811 during driving for safety.
n medical sites, please follow the relevant regulations by turning off your α811 when you are in medical
sites.
Please turn off your α811 or turn on planes mode when you are boarding, to avoid wireless signals jamming
aircraft control signal.
Please turn off your α811 near the use of high precision electronic equipment, otherwise it may lead to
electronic equipment disability.

Do not take apart your α811 or accessories without authorizing. Only authorized institutions can repair
this α811.
Please keep α811 away from magnetic equipment. The radiation of α811 will erase the information of the
magnetic storage device.
Please don’t use α811 under high temperature or in flammable areas (example: gas station).
Please keep your α811 and accessories away from children without supervising.
Please obey the relevant laws and regulations when you use your α811, and respect others lawful rights
and privacy.
Please obey the relevant specification of this manual when you use USB cable. Otherwise it may damage
your α811 or personal computer.
Modifying the device’s operating system or installing software from unknown sources may cause device
malfunction or data loss. mproper or unauthorized use of the device voids your one-year limited warranty.

2.5 α811 Home Screen
The Home Screen displays when α811 turns on. t is the starting point of all apps and features. t displays
icons, shortcuts, and widgets for apps.
Depending on the OS version, the Home Screen might appear different. To update OS version, contact your
local partner or visit our web site for more information.
α811 operation mode
There are several ways you can browse screen, menu and application, etc on the α811.
Touch
When you want to use applications, you can choose applications touch gently once on the
icon with finger.
Press
f you want to open an available option (such as the text box or web link) or move shortcut
and main program menu on the homepage press the items.
Fast sliding or sliding
Fast sliding or sliding said in his fingers making rapid vertical or horizontal drag action.
Drag
Before you start to drag, you must use your finger to press gently on it for a short time. When
dragging it to the position you want, you can loosen your finger.

n order to capture image or movie on α811, you can use below functions.
Gestured Screenshot
Swipe the screen from the left edge to the right with two fingers. To disable this feature, please refer to chapter
7.18 on page 104.
Gestured Screen Record
Swipe the screen from the left edge to the right with three fingers, and Swipe again to stop recording. To
disable this feature, please refer to chapter 7.18 on page 104.
Quick Settings Panel
Access the most frequently used settings quickly with quick settings panel, turning them on or off in an
instance.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen at any time from any app and tap a quick setting button to turn
it on or off
