Ventilator zur Befestigung auf der Aquarienkante
Mit dem Kauf dieses Ventilators haben Sie sich für ein Qualitätsgerät entschieden. Er ist speziell für
den aquaristischen ebrauch entwickelt worden und wurde von Fachleuten erprobt. Mit diesem
erät sind Sie bei richtiger Anwendung in der Lage, die Temperatur Ihres Aquarienwassers
wirksam zu senken.

1. Lieferu fang
Der Arctic Breeze besteht aus:
- dem Ventilatorsatz mit 2, 4 oder 6 Ventilatoren mit Klemmhalter für die Aquarienkante
- dem regelbaren Netzteil

- strahlwassergeschützte Lüfter (IP 55)
- super leise, langlebige Lüfter mit Kugellager und bürstenlosen Motoren
- 12 V Niederspannung mit regelbarem Netzteil (3 – 12 V). So kann die Kühlleistung an die
Wassertemperatur angepasst werden.
- Hochleistungslüfter mit 80.000 l/Std. (2-fach Lüfter bei 12 V) bis 240.000 l/Std. (6-fach
Lüfter)
- Stromverbrauch nur 0,5 - 3 W pro Lüfter
- Ventilatordurchmesser 60 mm
- Luftdurchsatz pro Ventilator 40.000 l/Std. bei 12 V

3. Funktionsweise
Die Lüfterbatterie „Arctic Breeze“ wird so auf der Aquarienkante angebracht, dass ein steter
Luftstrom über die Wasseroberfläche streicht. Dies führt zu einer erhöhten Verdunstung. Die dabei
entstehende Verdunstungskälte kühlt das Aquarium um bis zu 4° C ab.
4. Aufstellung
Die Lüfterbatterie wird auf die Aquarienkante gesteckt und mit den Inbusschrauben fixiert. Dabei
sollte sie so angebracht werden, dass die Ventilatoren die Luft - am besten in Längsrichtung –
über die Wasseroberfläche blasen. Das regelbare Netzteil erlaubt die Anpassung der
Ventilatorgeschwindigkeit an den Kühlbedarf. In der Regel wird es reichen, die Ventilatoren auf
niedriger Stufe (3 – 4,5 V) zu betreiben. Sie sind dann fast lautlos. Bei Hitzeperioden kann die
eschwindigkeit bis 12 V erhöht werden.
5. Wartung
Die Lüfter arbeiten wartungsfrei. Allerdings sollten sie regelmäßig gereinigt werden, insbesondere
von Salzablagerungen. Die Lüfter sind einzeln auswechselbar. Dazu wird eine Endkappe
abgeschraubt. Jetzt können die Schutzgitter herausgeschoben werden und die Lüfter sind
zugänglich. Tauschen Sie den defekten Lüfter nur gegen einen original Aqua Medic Lüfter aus.
Nur diese sind strahlwasserfest und zum Einbau an Aquarien geeignet.
6. Garantie
AB Aqua Medic gewährt eine 12-monatige arantie ab Kaufdatum auf alle Material- und
Verarbeitungsfehler des erätes. Als arantienachweis gilt der Original Kaufbeleg. Während dieser
Zeit werden wir das Produkt kostenlos durch Einbau neuer oder erneuerter Teile instand setzen
(ausgenommen Frachtkosten). Im Fall, dass während oder nach Ablauf der arantiezeit Probleme
mit Ihrem erät auftreten, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhändler. Diese arantie gilt nur für
den Erstkäufer. Sie deckt nur Material- und Verarbeitungsfehler, die bei bestimmungsgemäßem
ebrauch auftreten. Sie gilt nicht bei Schäden durch Wasser, Transporte oder unsachgemäße
Behandlung, Fahrlässigkeit, falschen Einbau sowie Eingriffen und Veränderungen, die von nicht-
authorisierten Stellen vorgenommen wurden.
AB Aqua Medic haftet nicht für Folgeschäden, die durch den ebrauch des erätes entstehen.

Fan for fastening on the aquariu edge
With the purchase of this unit, you have selected a top quality product. It has been specifically
designed for aquaristic purposes and has been tested by experts. With this unit, you are able to
lower the temperature of your aquarium water effectively.

1. Ship ent
The Arctic Breeze consists of the following:
- fan set with 2, 4 or 6 fans incl. clamp support for the aquarium edge
- adjustable power pack

adapted to the water temperature.

3. Working principle
The fan battery „Arctic Breeze “is attached on the aquarium edge in such a way that a constant air
flow wafts over the water surface. This leads to an increased evaporation. The evaporation cold
arising in this process cools the aquarium down by up to 4° degrees Celsius.
4. Set-Up
The fan battery is put on the aquarium edge and fixed with the Allen screws. It should be fastened
in such a way that the fans blow air over the water surface - best in longitudinal sense. Due to the
adjustable power pack, the fan speed can be adjusted according to the cooling needs. Normally, it
will be sufficient to run the fans at a low level (3 – 4,5 V). Then, they are almost silent. At heat
periods, the speed can be increased to 12 V.
5. Maintenance
The fans are maintenance-free. However, they should be cleaned regularly, in particular of salt
depositions. The fans can be exchanged separately. To do so, an end cap has to be unscrewed.
Then, the protective grilles can be shoved out and the fans are accessible. Only exchange the
faulty fan for an original Aqua Medic fan. Only these are resistant to hose-water and suitable for
the installation to aquaria.

6. Warranty
Should any defect in material or workmanship be found within 12 months of the date of purchase
AB Aqua Medic mbH undertakes to repair or, at our option, replace the defective part free of
charge – always provided the product has been installed correctly, is used for the purpose that was
intended by us, is used in accordance with the operating instructions and is returned to us carriage
paid. The warranty term is not applicable on the all consumable products.
Proof of Purchase is required by presentation of an original invoice or receipt indicating the dealer’s
name, the model number and date of purchase, or a uarantee Card if appropriate. This warranty
may not apply if any model or production number has been altered, deleted or removed,
unauthorised persons or organisations have executed repairs, modifications or alterations, or
damage is caused by accident, misuse or neglect.
We regret we are unable to accept any liability for any consequential loss.
Please note that the product is not defective under the terms of this warranty where the product,
or any of its component parts, was not originally designed and / or manufactured for the market in
which it is used.

1. Contenu
Composition de Arctic Breeze:
- roupe de ventilateurs avec 2, 4 ou 6 ventilateurs avec fixation pour le rebord de
l’aquarium.
- Ensemble de tension réglable.
2. Caractéristiques
- Ventilateur protégé contre les éclaboussures (IP 55).
- Super silencieux, ventilateur à longue durée de vie avec coussinets à billes et moteur sans
balais.
- Bas voltage 12 volts avec tension réglable (3 – 12 V). Il est ainsi possible d’adapter le
rendement énergétique à la température de l’eau.
- Ventilateur à rendement élevé de 80.000 l/h. (ventilateur double sous 12 volts) jusqu’à
240.000 l/h. (ventilateur sextuple).
- Consommation électrique de 0,5 à 3 W par ventilateur
- Diamètre du ventilateur de 60 mm

3. Mode de fonctionne ent
La batterie de ventilateurs „Arctic Breeze“ est fixé sur le rebord de l’aquarium de façon à ce qu’un
courant d’air continu effleure la surface de l’eau. Ceci entraîne une augmentation de l’évaporation.
Le rafraîchissement lié à l’évaporation refroidit l’eau de l’aquarium d’une température pouvant
atteindre jusqu’à 4° C.
4. Installation
La batterie de ventilateurs est placée sur le rebord de l’aquarium et fixé à l’aide des vis à 4 pans. Il
faut les installer de façon à ce que l’air provenant des ventilateurs souffle sur la surface de l’eau
dans le sens de la longueur. La tension électrique réglable permet d’ajuster la vitesse des
ventilateurs aux besoins de refroidissement. En règle générale il suffira de faire fonctionner les
ventilateurs sur le niveau inférieur (3 à 4,5 V). Ils sont alors pratiquement silencieux. Dans le cas
de pointes de chaleur il est possible d’augmenter la vitesse jusqu’à 12 volts.
5. Entretien
Les ventilateurs ne nécessitent pas d’entretien. Il faut toutefois les nettoyer régulièrement, surtout
en éliminant les dépôts de sel. Il est possible de remplacer les ventilateurs individuellement. Pour
cela il faut dévisser le couvercle. Ceci permet de glisser les grilles de sécurité et les ventilateurs
sont accessibles. Echangez le ventilateur défectueux par un ventilateur d’origine Aqua Medic.
Seuls ceux-ci résistent aux jets d’eau et conviennent pour l’installation sur les aquariums.

6. Garantie
AB Aqua Medic mbH assure une garantie de 12 mois à partir de la date d’achat sur tous les
défauts de matériel et de fabrication de l’appareil. Comme preuve de garantie il faut produire la
preuve d’achat. Durant cette période nous remettons le produit gratuitement en état par utilisation
de pièces neuves ou rénovées (excepté les frais de port). En cas de problèmes durant ou après la
garantie, veuillez vous adresser à votre revendeur.
Cette garantie ne vaut que pour l’acheteur initial. Elle ne couvre que les défauts de matériel ou de
fabrication, pouvant survenir lors d’un usage normal. Elle n’est pas applicable en cas de dommages
dus au transport ou une manipulation inadéquate, négligence, mauvaise installation ainsi que des
manipulations ou des modifications effectuées par des personnes non autorisées.
AB Aqua Medic mbH n’est pas responsable an cas de dommages collatéraux dus à l’utiliation de
l’appareil.
