1.Security instructions

•Read all instructions and warnings carefully before using this product. Failure to heed
warnings and instructions can result in serious injury, death, or property damage.
•Before installation, check that all accessories are fully present and undamaged. If this is not
the case, please contact our customer service.
•Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
•Use this product only with original accessories.
•The manufacturer is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from improper use of this
product.
•The information contained in these instructions for use is believed to be correct to the best
of our knowledge and belief at the time of printing.
•This device can only be used by children from 8 years of age and persons with limited
physical, sensory or mental performance or lack of experience and knowledge if they are
supervised during use or receive instruction on the safe use of the device and the associated
dangers and understood them. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and
maintenance must not be carried out by children.
By means of a CE marking, it can be recognized that a product complies with the
legal requirements of European legal standards and therefore may be traded
within the European Community.

•Danger! Keep children away from packaging material. There is Choking hazard.
•Children aged 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload cooling devices.
•Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
•In order to avoid hazards and to comply with safety regulations, repairs to the device and the
connecting cable may only be carried out by our customer service. Therefore, in the event of
a repair, contact our customer service by phone or email.
•If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or qualified personnel
in order to avoid a hazard.
•To protect yourself against electric shock, do not immerse the cable, plug, or device in water
or other liquids.
•Before cleaning, pull the mains plug and let the device cool down if necessary.
•Protect the device from rain, direct sunlight and shocks.
•In this device, do not store any explosive substances, such as aerosol containers with
flammable propellant.
•Do not block the fan in the lid!
•To ensure sufficient air circulation, no objects may be placed on the device and the
ventilation slots covered.
•Only operate the lid in connection with the associated container!
•Do not let liquids run into the fan openings or fill into the cooler.
•Suitable for use at the campsite.
•The device can be connected to more than one energy source.
•The device must not be exposed to rain.
•The device is not intended for commercial use, nor for use in catering and similar wholesale
use.
•Warning: When setting up the device, make sure that the power cord is not pinched or
damaged.
•Warning: Remove extension cords and electrical devices from the back of the device.
•The device must be set up on a stable, level surface.
•To avoid food contamination, follow these instructions: If you open the door for a long
period of time, the temperature inside the device will increase significantly.
•Regularly clean surfaces that come into contact with food and sewage systems that are
accessible.
•If the cooling device has not been used for a long time, please switch it off and then clean
and dry it. Then open the door to prevent mold from forming inside.
•When selling, handing over or handing in for recycling, the blowing agent cyclopentane in the
insulation must be mentioned.
1.3 Security instruction for use of electrical devices
•Neither the device nor the connecting cables may be exposed to external heat.
•Both connecting cables must not be connected at the same time.
•Do not switch from one operating mode to another directly in succession. Wait 30 minutes
before changing the operating mode.
•Before commissioning, check the entire device including the connecting cable and any
accessories for defects and damage that could impair the functional safety of the device. If
the device e.g. has fallen to the ground or has been pulled on the connecting cable, there
may be damage that is not visible from the outside. In these cases, do not operate the
device.

•Pull the power plug,

•Do not pull the power plug out of the socket by the connecting cable, but grasp the power
plug.
•If the device is operated incorrectly or used for other purposes, no liability can be accepted
for any damage that may occur.
1.4 Special security instructions for the device
•Cooling units are divided into climate classes. The climate class for this device can be found in
the chapter Technical data.
•The device can operate at a humidity of max. 70%.
•For the ambient temperature at which the device can be operated, please refer to the
chapter Technical data.
•The cool box works with thermoelectric technology and can cool as well as keep warm. The
cool box cools up to approx. 20 ° C below the ambient temperature and heats up to approx.
50-60 ° C.

3.Commissioning
3.1 Before using for the first time
•Take the device and accessories out of the box. Remove the stickers, protective film or plastic
parts from the device.
•Wipe all removable parts with a damp cloth before using the device for the first time. Never
use abrasives.
•The heating function is not used to heat cold dishes, but to keep warm dishes warm.
•The cooling function is recommended for pre-chilled food and drinks.
3.1.1 Lid
•The lid can be locked by folding the carrying handle over towards the hinged side of the lid.
To unlock, move the handle to the opposite side.
•The lid hast wo circular covers. The right-hand one with the (| →) arrow markings can be
opened by turning it. The compartment below contains the operating switches, indicator
light and power supply cables.
3.1.2 Operation mode selector switch
•COLD: The cooling function is switched on.
•OFF:The appliance is switched off.
•HOT: The heating function is switched on.
3.1.3 Power mode selector switch
•ECO: The appliance is in power-saving mode (can only be selected in 220-240 V mode).
Recommended if the cool-box is only partly filled.
•OFF: The appliance is switched off.
•MAX: Appliance operating at maximum power.
3.1.4 Indicator lights
•The „cooling “function is indicated by the green light.
•The red indicator light shows that the “keep-warm”function is enabled.
3.2 Operation
•Open the right-hand cover on the lid by turning it.
•Ensure that both switches are in the off-position.
•Connect the 12 V plug to a 12 V cigarette lighter socket; or insert the mains plug into a
suitable wall outlet.
•Set the left switch to COLD or HOT.
•Set the right switch to the desired power mode ECO or MAX.
•The appropriate indicator light will come on.
•Close the right-hand cover, ensuring that the cable being used runs through the guide in the
cover. Place the items to be cooled into the cool-box.
•When not being used, the cool-box should always be switched off, and the cable
disconnected from its power source.
•Do not change directly from one operating mode to another. Always wait 30 minutes before
doing so.

3.3 Hints
•Cooling: To achieve optimum cooling, the cool-box should be filled with pre-chilled food
and/or beverages. With warm or non-chilled food and beverages, the cooling process will
take considerably longer.
•Keeping warm: Using the keep-warm function, food and beverages may be kept warm.
Again, warming up cold food and beverages will take some considerable time.
•12 V connection: If the cool box is connected to a car battery, but with the engine switched
off, do not allow it to over-discharge (unless there is a deep-discharge protection). With the
engine running, the cool-box may be left connected for an unlimited time.
•Lid: To prevent unnecessary heat loss, open the lid as little as possible and shut it again as
soon as you can.
4.Cleaning and care
•The inside of the device should be cleaned at least monthly for hygienic reasons; always pull
the plug out of the socket beforehand.
•Before cleaning, pull out the mains plug and let the device cool down.
•For reasons of electrical safety, the device must not be treated with liquids or even immersed
in it.
•Clean the inside and outside of the case with mild detergent.
•The lid is removable for easy cleaning of the cool box. To do this, open the lid up to approx.
45 ° C and pull it up out of the hinge. Put the cover back on after cleaning.
•Wipe the lid with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it.
•Clean the container with a damp cloth, if necessary, with a little detergent. Then dry the
container.
•Never use caustic cleaning agents, steel wool and / or scouring pads as these can damage the
device.
•Make sure that no moisture gets into the cooling slots and do not immerse them in water or
other liquids.

5.Troubleshooting
Problem

6. Disposal instructions
6.1 Disposal of the packaging
•Please refer to the guidelines and standards for appropriate disposal of the packaging valid in
your region. In part, the package may consist of plastic bags - watch this respect, with special
care to ensure that this is not out of the reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation!
6.2 Disposal of old equipment
•Old equipment must be disposed of in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of the
local waste disposal department.
6.3 Meaning of the “garbage can”symbol
Protect our environment, electrical appliances do not belong in the household
waste. Use the collection points provided for the disposal of electrical
appliances and hand in your electrical appliances which you will no longer be
using. This will help avoiding the potential effects of incorrect disposal on the
environment and human health. You thus make your contribution to the
recovery, recycling and other forms of recovery of waste electrical and
electronic equipment. Information on where to dispose of your equipment can
be obtained from your local authorities
