Product Description / Functions
The Carino has a total of 15 descriptions and functions.
Lifting Function (High/Low)
The chair can be adjusted to a suitable height over the toilet and
to a comfortable height during showering. The higher the
Carino chair is raised, the more reclined the resident’s position
will be.
Leg Rests
Supporting the resident’s legs gives the caregiver a correct
working posture for example during a pedicure. The leg rests
also give support to the resident’s legs during the transfer. Press
the leg rest connector (A) while folding out the leg rest.
(See Fig. 1)
The leg rests are adjustable in three different positions
depending on the length of the resident.
Adjust the position of the leg rest by removing the leg support
and snap it back in to one of the three preferable heights (B).
(See Fig. 1)
Foot Supports
Fold out the foot support to let the resident rest their feet during
the transfer in lower positions and during toileting. (See Fig. 2)
Driving Handles
The correct hand positioning for the caregiver during the
transfer or positioning is on the driving handles behind the back
rest (A) and integrated front arm rest (B).Do not grab the
chassis side bars (C).(See Fig. 3)
CAUTION
If the leg rest connector is not pressed in, the leg
rest may break during the folding process.
WARNING
To avoid falling, make sure the floor is free from
obstacles and that the foot rests are folded away
before getting in or out of the equipment.

laying on the floor causing someone to trip over it. Make sure
the safety belt is close to the residents body. (See Fig. 2)

for easier disinfection underneath the arm rest.

downwards controls the raising and lowering of the chair.
(See Fig. 3)

The seat has a comfortable design and can be folded up for
cleaning and disinfecting. The seat is fixed in its normal
position by a snap-in attachment on the front edge of the seat.
