DAIMLER SCOUT CAR Mk.II

Congratulations with your purchase of the Westfront Armor Daimler Dingo MkII kit.
This is a 1/6 metal model kit for the experienced modeller.
We assume you have knowledge of / can perform small tasks like drilling, ling, sanding and bending small metal parts.
Building the kit - take your time to read and dry t
Please take your time to read the instructions of each package before starting to build it. Check the content and dry t
whenever you can to get familiar with the parts before fastening them permanent.
Building the kit - Where to begin?
To start building, just follow the numbers on the packages (1,2,3,4 etc.). Each completed pack will bring you a step closer to
nishing the model and you will avoid mistakes (like ‘nishing the kit and discovering you forgot that ‘vital part in the chassis’).
As already mentioned some parts may need some work like removing burrs. NEVER USE excessive force.
Take time to sand the hole when f.i. a bearing doesn’t t.

About the material used
The parts use in this kit are mainly made of iron, steel, auminium, white metal and brass.
Many of the iron parts are coated to prevent rust and to make applying the paint easier.
Metric system
We’re a dutch company so parts, srews, nuts & bolts are metric based.
Usefull tools
Drilling machine and drills
Screwdrivers in dierent sizes and shapes
Metric Allen keys dierent sizes
Small hammer
Dierent pliers (cutting pliers, combination pliers, pointed pliers, etc.)
Dierent shapes and sizes le (ne, not rough) (equalling le, round le)
Emery cloth, rather than emery (sand) paper (also to roughen the aluminium surface for painting)
Small spanners Metric size 5,5 etc.
Small socket wrench Metric size 5,5 etc.
Loctite/Gorilla-glue (or glue like Tamiya thread lock)
Sliding gauge
Paint
Grease
