Sicherheitshinweise
• VORSICHT HOCHSPANNUNG !
Gerät vor dem Abnehmen der
Elektronikeinheit und vor dem
Lampenwechsel vom Netz trennen.
• VORSICHT STROMSC HLAG !
Das Gerät entspricht der Schutzart IP20
und darf nur in trockener Umgebung
eingesetzt werden.
Es darf bei
Beschädigung nur von qualifiziertem
Fachpersonal geöffnet werden.

Lampen nicht im heissen Zustand
an fa ssen und vor dem Auswechseln
abkühlen lassen.

muß ein Richtgitter verwendet werden,
um ein ev. Her au sfallen von
La mpenteilen zu verhindern.

Inbetrie bnahme
Die elektrischen Anschlüsse und
Bedienelemente befinden
sich auf
der Unterseile des Gerätes (2).
• Überprüfen Sie den Scheinwerfer, die
eingesetzten Lampen und die
Anschlusskobel auf Beschädigung.
Defekte Teile bzw. Geräte dürfen nicht
in Betrieb genommen werden.
• Verbinden Sie den blauen Stecker des
Netzkabels mit
dem Anschluß POWER
IN des Geräts.
• Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit der
Stromversorgung.
AUSFÜHRUNG ,.MULTICONTROL"
• Schalten
Sie den Schalter ON/OFF ein.
• Stellen Sie am Helligkeitsregler DIM die
gewünschte Helligkeit ein.
AUSFÜHR UNG ,. DUAL SWITCH"
• Schalten
Sie einen oder beide Schalter
ein. Jeweils zwei Lampen werden über
einen Schalter angesteuert.

VERSION
• Turn the ON/OF F switch on.
• Adjust the DIM conlroller lo change the
brightness.
,.DUAL SW ITCH" VERSION
• Turn one or both switches on. T wo
lamps each are beeing conlrolled by
one switch.

AUSFÜHRUNG "PHASE CONTROL"
• Bei Anlegen der normalen Netz-
spannung leuchtet der Scheinwerfer mit
der maximalen Helligkeit.
• Die Helligkeit kann durch Verwendung
eines externen Dimmers eingestellt
werden, der eine phasenmodulierte
Netzspannung erzeugt.
DMX-Steuer ung
Die Ausführung MULTICONTROL kann
über ein DMX51 2
-S i gnol ferngesteuert
werden. Dabei
ist Folgendes zu beachten:
• Auf dem Kanal 1 wird die Helligkeit
der Leuchte eingestellt.
• Die Geräteadresse wird an den drei
Drehschaltern DMX
SELECT eingestellt.
• Die Leuchtdiode DMX zeigt durch
einfaches Blinken an, wenn ein gültiges
Signol anliegt. Doppel-Blinken zeigt
on, dass das DMX-Signol fehlt oder
dass ein Verkobelungsfehler vorliegt.
• Die Leuchtdiode RUN zeigt on, dass
das Gerät eingeschaltet ist.
Analog-Fernsteuerung
Die Ausführung MULTICONTROL besitzt
die
Buchse ANALOG IN, an der eine

.. 1 OV Gleichspannung zur Regelung de r
Helligkeit angelegt werden kann. Das
Signal muß zwischen den Pins 1 und 2
anliegen.
Alternativ dazu können die Pins 3 und 4
überbrückt und ein lineares Potentiometer
mit 1OOKOhm on den Pins 1 und 2
angeschlossen werden. Die Einstellung der
Helligkeit erfolgt dann über dieses
Potentiometer.

DMX Contr ol
The MULTICONTROL version of the fixture
con be remorely controlled by a DMX512
signol. Piease note:
• The brightness of the lampheod is
controlled on channel 1.
• The device oddress con be selected on
the three DMX SELECT rotory switches.
• The indicotor DMX shows by single-
blinking thot there
is o valid signol.
Double-blinking indicotes thot o valid
DMX signol is missing orthat the
cobling is wrong.
• The RUN indicator shows thot the
device
is switched on.
Analog Remote Control
The MULTICONTROL version of the fixture
hos the
ANALOG IN socket on which o

0 VDC voltoge for the control of the
brightness con be
opp lied. The signol
must be between the pins 1 end 2.
Alternotively, the pins 3 end 4 moy be
bridged end o linear dimmin g pol with
1
OOKOhm moy be connected to the pins 1
ond 2. in this cose, the control of the
brightness works with the pol.

Lampenwechsel
Sicherheitshinweise beachten !
Die Lampen können ohne Werkzeug aus
dem Gerät entnommen werden.
• Verschluss(11) drücken und
Zubehörholter(6) wie eine Tür öffnen.
• Erste Lampe(B) om Glas lockerholten
und Lampen-Auswerfer(1
0) fest
drücken. Die Lampe springt heraus.
• Lampe entnehmen und mit den
anderen Lampen genauso verfahren.
• Neue Lampen zuerst in den
Lampenhalter{7) einfädeln
und dann
mit den Kont ak ten in die Lampensockel
eindrücken.
• Zubehörholter(6) wieder schließen, so
dass der Verschluss(11) einrostet.
Wechsel des Reflektors
• Zubehörholter(6) wie beim
Lampenwechsel öffnen und olle
L ampen herausnehmen.

• Press the lock (11) ond open the
occessory holder(6) like a
door.
• Hold the first lamp(B) laxly on the glass
and press the lomp ejector(10) firmly
down. The lamp disenganges.
• Remave the lamp ond continue with the
other lamps in the same way.
• Insert the new lamps first in the lomp
holder(?) and press them afterwords
with their contacts
into the lomp
sockets.
• Close the occessory holder(6) so that
the lock(11) snaps in.
Change of the Reflector
• Open the accessory holder(6) and
remove oll lamps as described before.
• Uniosten the four quick locks(9) and
remove the reflector assembly corefully.

• Vier Schnellverschlüsse(9) lösen und
Reflektor-Baugruppe vorsichtig
herausnehmen.
• Neue Re flektor-B augruppe einsetzen,
on den Ecken andrücken und
verriegeln.
• Lampen wieder einsetzen und
Zubehörholter(6) schließen.
Einsetzen des Zubehörs
Folgendes Zubehör kann in die drei
Einschübe des Zubehörhalters
eingesetzt werden:
• Richtgitter (e gg crate),
• Fi lterrohmen,
• Flügeltor od er lntensifier oder Snoot.
• Verschluss(l3) in Pfeilrichtung fest
drücken.
Der Deckel(14) des
Zubehörhalters springt auf.
• Zubehör von oben einschieben. Be im
Einsetzen eines Richtgitters
auf die
Ausrichtung achten (Pfeil
auf dem
Aufk leber noc h außen =Lichtpfod).
• Insert the new refledor ossembly, hold
it down on the corners ond lock it.
• Insert the lomps ogoin ond close the
occessory
ho lder(6).
ln serting Accessories
The following occessories con be inserted
in the three slots of the occessory holder:
• egg crote,
• filter frome,
• borndoor or inlensifier or snoot.

Austausch der Elektronikeinheit
Die Studio Cool 4 ist modular aufgebaut
und besteht
ou s zwei v oll st ändi g
unabhängigen B augruppe n,
• d er Lichteinheit und
• d er ElektronikeinheiL
Die El ek tronikeinheit muss abgenommen
werden, wenn sie re par ie rt werden muss
oder wenn eine andere Leuchtenkom-
bination zusamm en gestellt werden soll.
ACHTUNG! Do sdarf nur von geschultem
Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.
Sicherheitshinweise beachten (!) und
folgendermaßen vorgehen:
• Gerät mit der Lampenseite noch unten
auf eine ebene Fläche legen.
• Vi
er Verschluss-Schr aub en(1) der
Elektronikeinheit öffnen (s. Abb 1.).
• Elektronikeinheit gerade noch oben
abnehmen.
• Neue El ek tronikeinheit auf die
Lichteinheit aufsetzen, so daß zuerst
der Er du ngskontakt einrostet.
• Elektronikeinheit noch unten drücken
und Verschluss-Schrouben(1) wieder
festziehen.
Bildung von Leuchtenketten
D ie St udio Cool 4 besit zt auch einen Netz-
Ausgang (POWER OUT ), mit dem weitere
Leuchten
mi t Spannung v er s orgt werden
können.
Es können also Ketten von
Leuchten gebildet werden.
Daf ür sind
spezielle Ve rb indungskobel erhältlich. Die
ma xima le Belastbarkeit innerhalb der
Kette bet rä gt - unabhä ngig von
regionalen Vorschriften -15A. Sie darf
nicht überschritten werden.

• Pul the fix tu re with its lo mp side
downwards
on an even surface.
• Open the four Ieeking bolt s( 1) of the
electronic unit (see pidure 1).
• Remave the electronic unit by I ift ing it
stroightly upwords.
• Alta ch the new el edronic unit lo the
light unit ond toke core that the

in g contod is connected first.
• Pre ss the electronic un it down ond fix
the Ieeking bolts(1)
ogo in.
Setting up Chains of Fixtures
The Studio Cool 4 ho s also o moins ou tpul
