Important Safeguards for Your Product
•This appliance may only be connected to a power supply with the voltage specified on
the rating plate.
•Never use the cord to pull the plug out of the mains power outlet, remove by pulling out
the actual plug.
•If the main cord of this appliance is damaged, it has to be replaced by a qualified
electrical person only or the product must be disposed.
•Never use the kettle if it has been dropped or has evidently been damaged or has
become immersed in water.
IMPORTANT
Any repairs to this item must be carried out by a qualified electrical person only
or the product must be disposed. Considerable danger may result from improper
repairs.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such
as:
ostaff kitchen area in shops, offices and other working environments;
ofarm houses;
oby clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
obed and breakfast type environments
Use the appliance only for its direct purposes.
The appliance is only to be used with the stand provided.
The heating element surface is subjected to residual heat after use.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may
result fire or electric shock
Before using an extension cord, make sure it is suitable for such a load,
otherwise it may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
Incorrect operation and improper handling can lead to malfunction of the
appliance and injuries to the user
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and
supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less
than 8 years.
Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
WARNING
Do not touch the hot surfaces during / just after operation.
Do not immerse cord, plug and any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
If the item fell in water, immediately unplug it and do not hurry to take it out.
Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or the appliance has
been damaged in any manner –take the appliance to an authorized service
center to check and to repair
Do not use the appliance with strained cord
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of table or touch hot surfaces
Do not leave the kettle unattended during use.
Do not place or use the kettle on hot surfaces or near naked flames.
Do not operate the appliance with no water

Do not place hands, face or other parts of body over the steam coming out from
the appliance
Caution: Avoid spillage on the connector.
OPERATING
Remove any packaging materials and check that all components are present. For the
first use or after extended periods of non-use, you should wipe the inside and outside
the kettle with a damp cloth to remove any residue from the manufacturing process.
Caution: Do not drink water from the first 2 boiling cycles.

Using your kettle
· A. When blue light is on (boiling water at 45 degrees): plug in and the buzzer beeps,
the indicator light will flash and then enter to standby mode. Touch the power button
once during standby mode, the buzzer beeps. After the blue indicator light stays on
for 5 seconds, it starts boiling water about 45 degrees. When the temperature
reaches the preset temperature, it stops boiling and starts keep warm mode. When
the temperature is lower than the preset temperature by 5-10 degrees, it starts
boiling until preset temperature. The power shuts off after 3 hours of cycle operation.
· B. When red light is on (boiling water at 85 degrees): plug in and the buzzer beeps,
the indicator light will flash and then enter to standby mode. Touch the power button
twice during standby mode, the buzzer beeps. After the red indicator light stays on
for 5 seconds, it starts boiling water about 85 degrees. When the temperature
reaches the preset temperature, it stops boiling and starts keep warm mode. When
the temperature is lower than the preset temperature by 5-10 degrees, it starts
boiling until preset temperature. The power shuts off after 3 hours of cycle operation.
· C. When purple light is on (100 degrees boiling water): plug in and the buzzer
beeps, the indicator light will flash and then enter to standby mode. Touch the power
button 3 times during standby mode, the buzzer beeps. After the purple indicator
light stays on for 5 seconds, it starts boiling water at 100 degrees. When the
temperature reaches the preset temperature, it stops boiling and starts keep warm
mode. When the temperature is lower than 85 degrees, it starts boiling until 90
degrees. The power shuts off after 3 hours of cycle operation.
Tips: the process of boiling water and/or keeping warm is resumed when the
kettle returns on base after lifts off.

Caution:
•Do not move the appliance during operation.
•Always remove the plug from the wall socket after use.
•Do not pour more than 500ml (max. marking on the body) of water into the
pot.
CLEANING AND CARE
Always disconnect the kettle from the mains power outlet before cleaning.
Allow the kettle to cool down before cleaning.
Never clean the kettle and base unit under running water or immerse it in water.
Occasionally rinse the interior of the kettle with clean water.
Clean the exterior of the appliance only using a damp cloth. Do not use any
caustic or abrasive cleansing agents.
DESCALING
· Half fill the kettle with tap water and appropriate amount of citric acid to the water.
· Boil this mixture and allow it to stand for 15 minutes. Re-boil the mixture and allow it
to stand a further 15 minutes. Re-boil this mixture a third time then rinse the kettle
thoroughly.
· Alternatively a commercially available descaling agent can be used. Ensure to follow
the instructions supplied with the cleaning solution.
STORAGE
Unplug the appliance. Pour the liquid out. Let the appliance to cool down. Remove the
appliance’s handle by unscrewing the handle. Store the appliance in cool and dry place,
far away from children.
DISPOSAL
Packaging material
The packaging materials are environmentally friendly and can be recycled. The plastic
components are identified by markings, e.g.>PE<,>PS<, etc.
Please dispose of the packaging materials in the appropriate container at community
waste disposal facilities.
