BEFORE OPERATION
CAUTION:
Check the following to prevent miss operation of and damage to the
your new artisan® sewing machine.
• Before you begin initial operation and after you have set-up the
machine, Please clean it thoroughly. Wipe off any excess oil or grease.
• Clean all accumulated dust gathered during transportation and verify
that the sewing machine is lubricated properly.
• Confirm that the power plug has been properly connected to the
power supply and never use the machine or motor in the state wh ere
the voltage type is different from the designated one of the sewing
machine or sewing machine motor.
• The direction of normal rotation of your artisan® sewing machine.
is counterclockwise as observed from the pulley side.
• Take care not to allow the machine to rotate in the reverse direction.
• Always remove the knee lifter lever before tilting the sewing machine
head backward for inspection or cleaning.
• Never operate the sewing machine until the machine has been filled
with
the
correct
sewing
machine
oil.
•Please do not run the sewing machine at more than 1800 RPM for the
first 50 hours of usage.
