FOUNTAIN ASSEBMLY:
1. Identi y a suitable area in your pond or the lotus
loating ountain. Attach the lotus ountain to the
pump. A water low valve is included in the
package. You can use it to adjust the ountain
height in order to it your pond size.
In order to keep the lotus ountain stationary in
the desired position o your pond a bag and wire
pack have been provided to hold the ountain in
place. Simply ill the net bag with a small amount
o gravel and then select the desired length o the
wire to the correct depth o your pond. Then tie
the wire to the illed net bag and the pump. Now
the illed net bag will act as an anchor to keep
your lotus ountain in position and stop it rom
moving around.

Connect the bracket, tubes and spike together.
Then attach the solar panel to the bracket.
Slide the holding bracket into the inside lip o
the top hal o the solar panel rame. The
bracket holds the weight o the solar panel.
The solar panel can be adjusted or optimal
sunlight by using the wingnut. Please see the
diagram.

Insert the spike into the ground. Position the
solar panel so it’s acing south (in northern
hemisphere) as much as possible to maximize
daylight hours. It is important to angle the solar
panel to ace the sun when the sun is at its
highest point. Ensure the solar panel is not
shaded by trees, shrubs or buildings.
4. Twisting pump plug slightly, sliding it into
the [pump] socket. Make sure its sealing
ring is ully in the groove. Your solar pump
is now ready to use. It will begin working
once the panel is in direct sunlight.
5. PERFORMANCE OF THE PUMP
The solar pump is designed mainly or use during summer hours, but it will also work in spring
and all as long as the sunlight conditions are good enough in your region. The pump’s
per ormance depends on the orientation o the solar panel towards the sun and the strength o
sunlight.

6. PUMP MAINTENANCE
I you ind the pump starts losing power or stops working, please clean the pump ilter and
impeller with clean water.
7. TROUBLE SHOOTING
•Check to see i the solar panel and pump are connected properly
•Ensure the solar panel is correctly positioned in direct sunlight and it not obstructed by
trees, shrubs or buildings.
•Check to make sure the pump impeller is not blocked by debris.
•Check the pump as it may be “air locked”. Turn the pump on and o a ew times to
clear any air that might be trapped.

. WINTER PROTECTION
Indoor storage is recommended during winter months. Normal operating temperature is
between 50 and 113 °F.
