SF012 Solar Mermaid Fountain Instructions

FOUNTAIN ASSEMB Y:

Attach one end of the water
i e to the i e
connector at the bottom of the Mermaid
Feature. Then, attach another end of the
water i e to the um .

Connect the bracket, tubes and s ike together. Then
attach the solar anel to the bracket. Slide the holding
bracket into the inside li of the to half of the solar
anel frame. The bracket holds the weight of the solar
anel. The solar anel can be adjusted for o timal
sunlight by using the wingnut. Please see the diagram.

Insert the s ike into the ground. Position the
solar anel so it’s facing south (in northern hemis here) as
much as ossible to maximize daylight hours. It is im ortant to angle the solar anel to face the sun when
the sun is at its highest oint. Ensure the solar anel is not shaded by trees, shrubs or buildings.

Twisting the um lug slightly, sliding it into
the [ um ] socket. Make sure its sealing ring
is fully in the groove. Your solar um is now
ready to use. It will begin working once the
anel is in direct sunlight.

5. Solar Pump Functions
This um runs from direct sunlight. The um s erformance is directly related to the amount and
strength of sunlight received by the solar anel. This solar um is designed rimarily to o erate in
summer months but can also work in s ring and autumn if there is direct sunlight. Notes: This
model DOES NOT come with a battery, so the um will only work when the solar anel is in
sunlight.
6. MAINTENANCE OF PUMP
If you find the um starts losing ower or sto s working, lease clean the um filter and im eller
with clean water.
7. TROUB E SHOOTING
•Check to see if the solar anel and um are connected ro erly
•Check to see if the solar anel is correctly ositioned facing the sun. Please ensure the solar
anel is not in the shade or obstructed by trees, shrubs or a building.
•Check if [low battery] red light is blinking. If so, this indicates that the battery ower is low.
Switch off the um and leave the solar anel charging under direct sunlight for at least 6
hours
•Check to see if the um im eller is blocked by debris
•Check the um . It may be “air locked”. Turn the um on/off switch several times to clear
any air that may have been tra ed.

9. WINTER PROTECTION
