SF021 Solar Ceramic Frog Instructions

Assembly Steps:
1. Attach Water Pipe to the Frog Base with a
provi e Rubber Bung
2. Attach the Frog onto the Reservoir. Put the pipe
through the hole on top surface of the Reservoir.
3. Attach the pump to the water pipe an exit
through a hole on the back si e of the Reservoir.
4. A appropriate amount of clean water into the
Reservoir an make sure the pump is fully
submerge in the water.
5. Connect the bracket, tubes an spike together.
Then attach the solar panel to the bracket. Sli e
the hol ing bracket into the insi e lip of the top
half of the solar panel frame. The bracket hol s
the weight of the solar panel. The solar panel can
be a juste for optimal sunlight by using the
wingnut. Please see the iagram.
6. Insert the spike into the groun . Position the
solar panel so it’s facing south (in northern
hemisphere) as much as possible to maximize
aylight hours. It is important to angle the solar

panel to face the sun when the sun is at its
highest point. Ensure the solar panel is not
sha e by trees, shrubs or buil ings.
7. Connect the Pump to the back si e of the Solar
Panel. IMPORTANT!! Slightly twist the connectors
when connecting to make sure the rubber seals
are fully in the grooves.
8. SOLAR PUMP FUN TIONS
This pump runs from irect sunlight. The pumps
performance is irectly relate to the amount
an strength of sunlight receive by the solar
panel. This solar pump is esigne primarily to
operate in summer months but can also work in
spring an autumn if there is irect sunlight.
Notes: This mo el DOES NOT come with a
battery, so the pump will only work when the
solar panel is in sunlight. Please visit

9. PUMP MAINTENAN E
If you fin the pump starts losing power or stops
working, please clean the pump filter an
impeller with clean water.
10. TROUBLE SHOOTING
•Check to see if the solar panel, pump an
le light are connecte properly
•Check to see if the solar panel is correctly
positione facing the sun. Please ensure
the solar panel is not in the sha e or
obstructe by trees, shrubs or a buil ing
(see step 2).
•Check water level an make sure the
pump is fully submerge in water
•Check to see if the pump filter/impeller is
blocke by ebris
•Check to see if the fountain tubing is
blocke by kinks or obstructions
•Check the pump. It may be “air locke ”.
Turn the pump on/off switch several
times to clear any air that may have been
trappe .
11. WINTER PROTE TION
In oor storage is recommen e uring winter
months. Normal operating temperature is
between 50 an 113 °F.
