3-button module
A unique combination of design and functionality
characterises the teleCARE wireless switch modules.
These extremely compact modules require no external
power supply and can be mounted virtually anywhere.
The teleCARE wireless switch modules have three
function buttons and can even incorporate the unique
Safe Release socket in a single module or a pull-cord
call switch.
Each function button contains an LED which can
be programmed to emit a bright light for up to 10
seconds after the circuit is activated. In addition to this
visual reassurance signal, the teleCARE wireless switch
modules also incorporate an optional reassurance
buzzer. The compact design of the teleCARE wireless
switch modules and the specially designed mounting
box means that they can easily and rapidly be installed
in any suitable location. The teleCARE wireless switch
modules can also be used in combination with the
more conventional “hard-wired” teleCARE switch
modules.
The unique teleCARE Safe Release socket is so
compact that it can be integrated in the standard sized
wireless switch modules. The Safe Release socket is for
connection of the teleCARE patient handsets. Its
revolutionary design eliminates the problems of
damaged plugs and broken cables by releasing the
plug if excessive strain is applied to the handset cable.
