Accessories
Your appliance is accompanied by a range of accessories, depending on the model. Only use
original accessories; they are specially suited to your appliance.
Not all accessories are suitable/available for every appliance (it may also differ by
country). All the accessories that are being used must be able to withstand the highest
temperature of the appliance. When purchasing, always provide the exact identification
number of your appliance. Please see the sales brochures or check online for more
details about optional accessories.
Accessories that can be supplied with your appliance (depending on the model)
Enamelled baking tray; to be used for pastries and cakes.
Oven rack; mainly used for grilling. A steam dish or pan with food
can also be placed on the oven rack.
• The oven rack is equipped with a safety peg. Lift the rack slightly
at the front to slide it out of the oven.
Deep enamelled baking tray; to be used for roasting meat and baking
moist pastry. Never place the deep baking tray in the first level during
the cooking process, except when grilling food or using the roasting spit
and you are only using the deep tray as a drip tray.
Consult the cooking guidelines in this user manual to select the correct accessory
for your dishes.
As baking accessories heat up, their form may change. This does not affect
their functionality and their original form will be restored when they cool down.
• The grid or the tray should always be inserted into the groove between the two wire profiles.
• Insert the grid so that the small railing is in the oven interior (toward the back of the oven).

Door
• The door switches interrupt the operation of the oven when the door is opened during use.
The oven continues operating when the door is closed.
• Some cookers have a ‘Soft close door system’ (depending on the model). When closing the
oven door, this system dampens the movement, from a certain angle, and silently closes the
oven door.
Push-pull knob
Some models can have push-pull knobs.
• Slightly push the knob until it pops out; then, rotate it.
• After each use, rotate the knob back to the “Off” position and push it back in.
• The push-pull knob can only be pushed back when it is in the “Off” position.
Drawer
Your appliance has a drawer to store accessories like trays, shelves, grids, small pots and pans.
Warning! The inside surface of the drawer may become hot during use.
Do not store any food, plastic or inflammable materials in the drawer.

First use
Before using the oven
• Remove all accessories from the inside of the oven and clean them with warm soapy water.
Do not use any abrasive cleaning materials.
• Set the oven at its highest setting for one hour with top and bottom heat (see ‘Operating the
oven’). This will remove any protective grease used during manufacture.
• When heating the oven for the first time you will notice a ‘new-oven smell’. Do not worry,
this is normal. If necessary, switch on the cooker hood.
• After cool down, clean the oven with warm water.
• Only preheat the oven if it is required in the recipe.
Before using the ceramic hob
• Clean the glass ceramic surface with a damp cloth and some washing up liquid.
• Do not use aggressive cleaners, such as abrasive cleaners that could cause scratches,
abrasive dishwashing sponges, or stain removers.
Using the oven
Energy-conscious use of the oven
• Open the oven door as little as possible.
• Prepare dishes with the same cooking temperature simultaneously (e.g., an apple pie and an
oven dish) on the same grid, or above each other using hot air. You can also let meat stew
at the same time.
• Prepare more meals after each other, for example an oven meal after a cake. Often, the
preparation time of the second dish will be 10 minutes shorter because the oven is still hot.
• Because the oven is insulated, the residual heat from the oven will continue to cook dishes
with longer cooking times (from 1 hour). Turn the oven Off 10 minutes earlier than indicated,
but leave the door closed.
• Pre-heating is generally not necessary, with the exception of dishes with cooking times of
less than 30 minutes, or when indicated by a recipe.
• Remove everything you don’t need for the dish from the oven.
• Turn the oven Off before taking out the cooked dish.
USE

EN 11
USE
Ovenware
• In principle, you can use any type of heat-resistant ovenware.
• Do not rinse glass ovenware with cold water immediately after use. The sudden temperature
difference can cause the glass to crack.
• Use black or dark baking tins. These conduct heat better and allow the food to cook more
evenly.
Do not cover the oven floor
• Covering the oven bottom with, for example, aluminium foil or a baking tray can lead to
overheating and damage to the enamel.
• It is possible to prevent spring forms from leaking onto the oven floor by folding a container
out of aluminium foil and placing it on the grid under the form or by laying baking paper
under it.
Roasting meat
• Large pieces of meat, from 1 kg, are the most suitable. The meat will get a regularly shaped,
crispy crust, with virtually no weight loss.
• Rub the meat with salt and spices fifteen minutes beforehand. Use 80 to 100 g of butter or
fat (or a mixture of the two) per 500 g of meat for roasting.
Cooking times
• Flat, thin pieces require approximately 5 minutes less cooking time than thick or rolled
pieces of meat. When cooking larger pieces of meat, cook for 15 to 20 minutes longer per
500 grams extra.
• Put the meat in a roasting pan and douse in hot butter or fat. Place the meat in the roasting
pan with the fatty side facing up. Make sure to baste meat without a fatty side every
15 minutes.
• Meat with a fatty side should be basted every 30 minutes.
• If the gravy is too dark, add a few spoonfuls of water now and then during roasting.
• Cover the meat loosely with foil and let it stand for 10 minutes before serving.

• With this function, the air circulates by means of the fan. Use this function to defrost frozen
dishes.
• Place the baking tray or oven rack on level 3.
Aqua clean
• Only the bottom heater will radiate heat. Use this function to remove stains and food
residues from the oven. The program takes 30 minutes.
Using the ceramic hob
• The heating zone will quickly reach the set temperature, while the area around the hot
cooking zones will remain cool.
• The hob is resistant to temperature changes.
• Using the glass ceramic hob as a storage area may result in scratches or other damage.
• Do not use aluminium or plastic cookware on hot cooking zones. Do not place any plastic
objects or aluminium foil on the glass ceramic hob.
• Do not use the glass ceramic hob if it is cracked or broken. If a sharp object falls on the
hob, the hob may break. The consequences of such occurrence may be visible immediately
or only after a while. If any visible crack appears in the hob, immediately cut Off the power
supply to the appliance.
Control of the two-ring (double) cooking zone:
• The area of the two-ring cooking zone can adapt to the size and the form of your cookware.
To activate the larger heating zone, rotate the cooking zone knob as far as it will go (a click
will be heard), then set the desired power level.
USE

EN 14
Residual heat indicator
• Every cooking zone has a signal light that lights up when the cooking zone is hot. When the
cooking zone cools down, the signal light goes out. The residual heat indicator may also
light up if a hot pot or pan is placed on a cool cooking zone.
Cookware
• Use quality cookware with flat and stable bottom.
• Pan bottom and cooking zone diameters should be the same.
• Tempered glass cookware with special ground bottom may be used on the cooking zones if
its diameter fits that of the cooking zones. Cookware with larger diameter may crack due to
thermal tension.
• Make sure the pot or pan is in the middle of the cooking zone.
• When using a pressure cooker, keep an eye on it until the right pressure is reached. First, set
the cooking zone to maximum power; then, following the pressure cooker manufacturer’s
instructions, use the relevant sensor to decrease the cooking power at the right time.
• Make sure there is enough liquid in the pressure cooker, or any other pot or pan. Due to
overheating, using an empty pot on the cooking zone may result in damage to both the pot
and the cooking zone.
• When using special cookware, observe the manufacturer’s instructions.
Energy saving tips
• Diameter of the pot and pan bottoms should match the diameter of the cooking zone.
If the pot or pan is too small, a part of the heat will be lost, and the cooking zone may
be damaged.
• If the cooking process allows, use a lid.
• Cookware should be suitably sized given the amount of food. When you cook a small
amount of food in a large pot or pan, more energy is lost.
• If a dish takes a long time to cook, use a pressure cooker.
• Vegetables, potatoes etc. may be cooked in a smaller amount of water. The food will cook
just as well, as long as the pot is tightly closed with a lid. After bringing the water to a boil,
reduce the heat to a level that just suffices to maintain a slow simmer.

General
Front of the unit
• Clean the surface with a liquid, non-abrasive cleaner for smooth surfaces and a soft cloth.
Apply the cleaning agent to the cloth and wipe away the dirt; then rinse with water.
• Do not apply the cleaning agent directly onto the surface. Do not use harsh or abrasive
cleaning agents, sharp objects, or steel wool, as this can cause scratches on the unit.
Stainless steel front panels
• Clean the surface with a mild detergent (soapsuds) and a soft sponge that doesn’t scratch
the surface.
• Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaning agents. If you do not follow these
instructions the casing may become damaged.
Painted and plastic surfaces
• Clean the knobs with a soft cloth and liquid cleaning agent suitable for cleaning smooth,
painted surfaces.
• You can also use cleaning agents specifically designed for this type of surfaces. In this case,
follow the instructions of the manufacturer.
Enamelled parts
• The entire oven interior, and the baking tray and griddle are entirely enamelled. They can
best be cleaned with warm soapy water.
Glass
• Clean glass parts with soapy water.
CLEANING

EN 17
Cleaning the glass ceramic surface
After each use, wait for the glass ceramic surface to cool down and clean it. Otherwise, all
remaining impurities will burn onto the hot surface the next time you use the hob. For regular
maintenance of the glass ceramic hob, use special care products that create a protective film on
the surface to prevent the dirt from sticking onto it.
• Before each use of the glass ceramic surface, wipe Off the dust or any other impurities that
could scratch the surface, from both the hob and the pan bottom.
Steel wool, coarse cleaning sponges, and abrasive powders may scratch the surface.
The surface may also be damaged by aggressive spray cleaners and unsuitable liquid
cleaners.
• Signage may be worn when using aggressive or abrasive cleaners or cookware with coarse
or damaged bottom.
• Use a damp soft cloth to remove minor impurities. Then, wipe the surface dry.
• Remove water stains with a mild solution of vinegar. However, do not use this solution to
wipe the frame (only with some models) as it may lose its sheen. Do not use aggressive
spray cleaners or descaling agents. Use special glass ceramic cleaners for stubborn dirt.
Observe the manufacturer’s instructions. Be sure to thoroughly remove any cleaner residues
after the cleaning process as they may damage the glass ceramic surface when the cooking
zones heat up.
• Remove stubborn and burnt residues with a scraper. Be careful when handling the scraper
to prevent injury.
Only use the scraper when dirt cannot be removed with a wet cloth or special cleaners
for glass ceramic surfaces. Hold the scraper at the correct angle (45° to 60°).
Gently press the scraper against the glass and slide it over the signage to remove the
dirt. Make sure the plastic handle of the scraper (in some models) does not come into
contact with a hot cooking zone.
• Do not press the scraper perpendicularly against the glass and do not scratch the hob
surface with its tip or blade.
• Immediately remove any sugar or sugar-laden food from the glass ceramic hob using a
scraper, even if the hob is still hot, as sugar may permanently damage the glass ceramic surface.
Discolouration of the glass ceramic surface does not affect the operation or stability of
the surface. Such discolouration is most commonly a result of food residues burnt onto
the surface, or it may be caused by some cookware materials (such as aluminium or
copper). Such discolouration is very difficult to remove entirely. Note: Discolouration and
similar flaws only affect the appearance of the hob and do not directly affect its function.
Removing such flaws shall not be covered by the warranty.
CLEANING

EN 18
CLEANING
Cleaning the oven
Clean the oven regularly to prevent fat and leftover food from accumulating, especially on interior
and exterior surfaces, the door and seal.
• Clean exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and soapy warm water. Wipe afterwards with a
clean, damp cloth and dry the surfaces.
• Remove splashes and stains on the interior surfaces with a soapy cloth. Wipe afterwards
with a clean, damp cloth and dry the surfaces.
• Clean the interior of the oven.
Important!
▷Take care that NO water enters the vents.
▷NEVER use abrasive cleaning materials or chemical solvents.
▷ALWAYS ensure that the door seal stays clean.
This prevents accumulation of dirt and allows you to close the door properly.
Aqua Clean function
With the Aqua Clean function and a damp cloth, you can easily remove grease and dirt from the
oven walls.
Using the Aqua Clean function
Only use the cleaning programme if the oven is cold. If the oven is hot, it is more difficult to
remove dirt and grease using this programme.
1. Remove all accessories and guide rails from the oven.
2. Pour approximately 0.6 litres of water into the baking tray and place it into the lower guide.
3. Turn the ‘Oven function knob’ to ‘Aqua Clean’.
4. Set the temperature at 70 °C.
5. Food remains on the enamel walls will be sufficiently soaked after 30 minutes so
that they can be removed with a damp cloth.

EN 19

1. Grasp the guide rails at the bottom and tilt them towards the middle of the oven (A).
2. Remove the guide rails from the holes in the back wall (B).
B
A
Do not clean the extendible guides in the dishwasher.

EN 20
Removing the oven door (depending on model)
1. Fully open the door (as far as it will go).
2. A. Rotate the stoppers all the way back.
B. Rotate the stoppers back by 90°.
C. Slightly lift the door latches and pull them towards you.
3. Slowly close the door until the stoppers are aligned with the hinge beds. At the angle of
15° (relative to the closed door position), slightly lift the door and pull it out from both hinge
beds on the appliance.
AB C
To replace the door repeat these actions in reverse. If the door does not open or close properly,
make sure the hinges are positioned correctly in their slots.
Always ensure that the catches fit properly in their slots. Never allow the hinge
fitting to spring out because the central springs are very strong and can cause
injury.
