NOTES:
• USB External HDD/Flash disk:
• The wireless router works with most USB HDDs/Flash
disks and supports read-write access for FAT16, FAT32,
EXT2, EXT3, and NTFS.
• To safely remove the USB disk, launch the web GUI
(http://192.168.1.1), click the USB icon in the Network
Map page’s middle part, and click Remove in the
Safely Remove disk eld on the right side of the
Network Map page.
• Incorrect removal of the USB disk, such as during
video/music streaming or le downloading, may cause
data corruption.

Positioning your wireless router
For the best wireless signal transmission between the wireless router
and the network devices connected to it, ensure that you:
• Place the wireless router in a centralized area for a maximum
wireless coverage for the network devices.
• Keep the device away from metal obstructions and away from direct
sunlight.
• Keep the device away from 802.11g or 20MHz only Wi-Fi devices,
2.4GHz computer peripherals, Bluetooth devices, cordless phones,
transformers, heavy-duty motors, uorescent lights, microwave
ovens, refrigerators, and other industrial equipment to prevent
signal interference or loss.
• To ensure the best wireless signal, orient the three detachable
antennas as shown in the drawing below.
• For optimum performance, adjust the internal cooling system. Refer
to the user manual for details.
• Always update to the latest rmware. Visit the ASUS website at
http://www.asus.com to get the latest rmware updates.

Before you proceed

1. Connect your devices.
2. Before starting ADSL setting procedure, ensure that the ADSL
indicator on DSL-N55U front panel become solid.

4. Launch the web browser and follow the Quick Internet Setup
(QIS) steps.
NOTE: If the QIS web page does not appear after you
launched the web browser, disable the proxy settings on
the web browser.
5. Setup is completed.

CATATAN:
• HDD Eksternal USB/Flash disk:
• Router nirkabel berfungsi dengan sebagian besar
HDD USB/Flash disk yang serta mendukung akses
baca-tulis untuk FAT16, FAT32, EXT2, EXT3, dan NTFS.
• Untuk melepas disk USB dengan aman, jalankan GUI
Web (http://192.168.1.1), klik ikon USB di bagian
tengah halaman Network Map (Peta Jaringan), lalu klik
Remove (Lepas) dalam kolom Safely Remove disk
(Lepas Disk Dengan Aman) di sisi kanan halaman
Network Map (Peta Jaringan).
• Melepas disk USB di saat yang tidak tepat, misalnya
saat streaming video/musik maupun download le
berlangsung, dapat menyebabkan kerusakan data.

Mengatur posisi router nirkabel Anda
Untuk transmisi sinyal nirkabel terbaik antara router nirkabel dan
perangkat jaringan yang tersambung, pastikan Anda:
• Menempatkan router nirkabel di area tengah agar jangkauan
nirkabel maksimum untuk perangkat jaringan.
• Tidak menghalangi perangkat dengan benda logam dan
menjauhkan dari sinar matahari langsung.
• Menjauhkan perangkat dari perangkat Wi-Fi 802.11g atau hanya
20 MHz, periferal komputer 2,4 GHz, perangkat Bluetooth, telepon
nirkabel, trafo, mesin berat, cahaya neon, oven microwave, lemari
es, dan peralatan industri lainnya untuk mencegah interferensi atau
hilangnya sinyal.
• Untuk memastikan sinyal nirkabel terbaik, arahkan tiga antena yang
dapat dilepas seperti yang ditunjukkan gambar di bawah.
• Untuk performa optimal, sesuaikan sistem pendinginan internal.

CATATAN: Jika halaman Web QIS tidak muncul di layar
setelah Anda mengaktifkan browser Web, nonaktifkan
pengaturan proxy browser Web Anda.
