Introduction
This appliance is WiFi-capable and can be remotely controlled using a smart device. If the
appliance is not connected to the home network, the appliance operates in the same way as
an appliance with no network connection and can be operated as described in the separate
‘Instructions for use’.
Please read the separate safety instructions carefully before
using the appliance!
Read this manual before using the appliance and keep it in a safe place for future use.
Note!
Ensure that you follow the instructions in this instruction manual and that these are
complied with even when operating the appliance via the ATAG Connect Life app and
when you are away from home.
Note!
Operation on the appliance always has priority. During the operation on the appliance,
it is not possible to operate the appliance using the ATAG Connect Life app. When the
appliance and application are operated simultaneously, the application is overruled by
the operation on the appliance.

What do you need?
What do you need if you want to use ATAG Connect Life?
• Your smart device must be running the latest version of the operating system it uses. If your
smart device satisfies the requirements, you will be able to install the ATAG Connect Life
app.
• The home network signal (WiFi) must be strong enough where the appliance is fitted.
• Name (SSID), security type and security key (password) for your home network (WiFi).
• The home network router must be connected to the Internet and the WiFi function activated.
• The appliance must be unpacked and installed.
Note!
If you have problems, you can always refer to the FAQ’s on the ‘Support page’ in your
ATAG Connect Life app.
Installing the ATAG Connect Life app
1. Go to the App Store (Apple devices) or Google Play Store (Android devices) on your smart
device.
2. Enter ‘ATAG Connect Life’ in the Store’s search field.
3. Select the ATAG Connect Life app and install it on your smart device.
4. Start the app and create your ATAG Connect Life login details. The app will guide you
through the registration process.

Network Connection Menu
Note!
First, check whether your home network router has a WPS function (automatic
connection). You will find information about this in the manual for your router.
1. Switch on the appliance.
▷At ‘Initial startup’ of the appliance (or startup after the power has been completely off
for a longer time), there is the possibility to connect the appliance immediately to the
home network. Therefore, select NOW in the NETWORK CONNECTION pop-up at ‘Initial
startup’. You will be guided through the steps. The steps will be comparable to the
explanation below.

4. If your smart device is connected to ‘ConnectLife’, open the web browser of your smart
device and navigate to http://192.168.1.1
5. To login, enter the specific User Name ‘admin’ and Password ‘admin’ of the appliance and
confirm by pressing ‘Log In’.
If you have logged in succesfully, you will see a menu.
6. Select ‘Wlan-Configuration’.
7. Enter the name (SSID) of your Home Network (case sensitive), Security type (can be found in
the specifications of your router) and the Key (password).

8. In ‘IP-Configuration’ select ‘Mode: Automatic’ and press ‘Apply’.
If the configuration was succesfully, you will see:

Status: Connected
Current SSID: ‘Your Home Network name’
▷Sometimes you have to refresh the page to see if the configuration was successfully.
9. Your appliance is now connected to your Home Network. Your smart device will
automatically connect to the closest available known network.
10. A pop-up will tell you if the WiFi connection was succesful. If it was succesful continue with
‘Connecting your appliance to the ATAG Connect Life app (pairing).

4. Choose ‘Add new appliance (+)’ on your smart device and follow the instructions.
As soon as your appliance is shown in the ATAG Connect Life app, the pairing was
successfull; you have succesfully connected your appliance!
Note!
If the connection could not be established, make sure that your smart device is
connected to your home network (WiFi). Repeat the entire process described in
‘Connecting your appliance to the ATAG Connect Life app (pairing)’.
Note!
If WiFi is on, but there are connection problems, the WiFi symbol next to the plus menu
icon is grayed.
