PLATE
INSTALLATION MANUAL

Thank you for choosing one of our products. To install this foundation de-
vice correctly and safely, please read this manual carefully. The manual is
divided into sections giving you a step-by-step guide to installation.
STEP 1
ACTIVITY:
- Realization of the hole or the exca-
vation, for upper box housing of the
Atlantech Lux foundation, to be car-
ried out by hydraulic auger and bits in
the first case, and by excavator buck-
et in the second case.
- The depth of the hole or of the exca-
vation must be equal to the height of
the box, so that the bottom of the
box leans against the bottom of the
pre-drilled hole/excavation.
MEANS AND ACCESSORIES:
- Excavator, we recommend starting
from 1,500 kg
- Hydraulic auger, we recommend
with max torque starting from 1.3-1.5
KNm
- Auger bits to be hooked to the hy-
draulic auger with a diameter suitable
for housing the box of the foundation
Atlantech Lux.
The tip must be chosen depending on
the type of soil (agricultural, mixed,
rocks / road massifs)
- Excavator bucket

STEP 2
ACTIVITY:
- Fastening the bolts with washers and nuts
in the position of spacing of the lighting po-
le to be installed (inside the slot for the
smaller spacing distance of the PLATE mo-
del, outside the slot for the greater spacing
of the PLATE model).
- Placing the Atlantech Lux PLATE founda-
tion inside the pre-hole or the excavation
carried out in step 1. The screwing takes
place by the Atlantech installation plate
hooked to the drill and up to the final level
with the contact between the bottom of the
box with the bottom of the prehole/
excavation.
When the screwing is completed, the instal-
lation plate is removed from its seat and
the foundation is immediately available for
insertion of the corrugated and for the in-
stallation of the lighting pole.
MEANS AND ACCESSORIES:
- Excavator, we recommend starting from
1,500 kg
- Hydraulic auger, we recommend with max
torque starting from 1.3-1.5 KNm
- Atlantech Lux PLATE installer. The installer
can be adapted to the auger by coupling
(nuts/bolts) with a "female" counterplate.

STEP 3
ACTIVITY:
- Insertion of the corrugated into the ap-
propriate side holes and complete re-
filling of the corrugated track and any
empty spaces left around the box.
- Insertion of the perforated plastic cap
to close the Atlantech box in the center
of the plate.
- Passage of the wiring from inside the
box through the hole of the plastic cap.
Inserting a piece of corrugated to protect
the cables from the box to the lighting
pole.
- Positioning of the nuts with washers for
the support of the lighting pole plate and
usable to adjust the verticality of the po-
le. It is advisable to leave about one cm
of space between the lower and the up-
per nuts to facilitate the verticality cor-
rection operations.
MEANS AND ACCESSORIES:
- Plastic cap, to be drilled, supplied to-
gether with the Atlantech Lux PLATE
foundations
- Piece of corrugated pipe
- Washers and nuts

STEP 4
ACTIVITY:
- Lifting the pole with a crane truck
- Passage of the cables inside the ligh-
ting pole through the hole under the
pole plate.
- Driving the lighting pole on the bolts
of the Atlantech Lux Plate foundation
leaning on the nuts/washers set up in
step 3.
- Positioning of the washers and dou-
ble nuts on the bolts to safely check
the verticality of the pole.
- Before final fixing, the verticality of
the pole can be adjusted by acting on
the spacer nuts positioned under the
pole plate. Final tightening of the
double nuts.

- Means for laying the lighting pole
- Washers and nuts
- Nuts/bolts tightening tools

TECHNICAL NOTES FOR INSTALLERS
- The Atlantech box must, under all circumstances, be
buried for at least half of its height (for example in the
PLATE 200-220 and PLATE 270-300 models the height of
the box is 80cm, the buried part must be at least 40cm).
- In the case of difficulties in screwing into soils with the
presence of inert, pebbles or rocks in the subsoil, a pre-
hole with a special widia tip with a diameter of 10cm
must be made also for the part of the screw foundation
below the box.
