Mini Anemometer
Please read this user manual thoroughly before using
this unit and keep it for your future reference.
1. Safety
Read the following safety information carefully before attempting to operate the meter.
Use the meter only as specified in this manual; otherwise, the warranty may be invalidated.

Maintenance
Repairs or servicing should only be performed by ATP Instrumentation Ltd.
Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a dry soft cloth. Do not use abrasives or solvents on this
instrument.

2. Introduction
The Mini Anemometer is designed for all kinds of air velocity and temperature measuring
projects including quality control, environmental tests, maintenance of ventilation and air
conditioning systems, health and safety checks etc. It is widely used for air velocity and
temperature measurement at constructional engineering sites, factories, schools,
supermarkets and households etc.

6. Preparation
(1) Open battery cover and install a 9-volt battery in the battery compartment.
(2) When the low battery icon " " appears, replace the meters battery.
(3) Place the vane sensor towards the air stream to start measuring the air velocity and air
temperature.
7. Operation Instruction
(1) Power ON Turn the meter on by pressing the " " button for 1 second until the LCD is lit,
then release the button.
(2) Power OFF To turn the meter off, press and hold the " " button for approx. 3 seconds
until the LCD switches off, then release the button.
(3) When the low battery icon " " appears, replace the meters battery.
(4) Auto power off: the meter will automatically turn off after approx. 15 minutes of inactivity.
(5) Backlight: After turning the meter on, momentarily press the " " button and the backlight
will turn on. It will automatically turn off after approx. 30 seconds of inactivity.
(6) MAX/MIN & Measurement Units:
Measurement Units: Press and hold the " " button for at least 3 seconds, the
measurement units will convert from m/s, Km/h, Knots, MPH to ft/min in turn.
MAX/MIN: Press " " button one time until "MAX" icon appears on the LCD to view the
current MAX reading; press the button again, "MIN" icon will appear to view the current MIN
reading. To exit the MAX/MIN mode, press the " " button again.
(7) / temperature units
When the meter is powered off, press and hold the " " button, then power the meter on.
After the LCD displays, release the button and the temperature units / will alternate.
8. Notes
(1) This meter has already been calibrated before delivery.
(2) Repairs or servicing should only be performed by ATP Instrumentation Ltd.
(3) Do not use it in areas with high temperature of humidity.
(4) Wipe the unit with a dry soft cloth. Do not use abrasives or solvents on this instrument.
(5) Remove the battery when the meter is to be stored for long periods of time to avoid battery
leakage.
