Operation Instructions
Power on/off:
Press“ ” to power the meter on/off.
Data Hold:
Whilst in measurement mode, press “ ”, the LCD display will clearly
display “HOLD” which indicates the data is frozen, to release the held
reading. Press the “ ” button again the release the reading.
MAX/MIN:
Whilst in measurement mode, press“ ”,to cycle through the maximum
or minimum recorded light levels. The LCD display will clearly display
“MAX”, or “MIN” to indicate the displayed value. Press and hold “ ” to
exit MIN/MAX mode and return to normal measurement mode.
Unit:
With the meter turned on, press “ ” to toggle between measurement
units, from m/s, km/h, MPH, ft/min. Knots in turn
°C / °F Mode:
Whilst the meter is turned off, press and hold “ ” and press “ ”. The
unit will power on with the temperature unit (°C/°F) toggled.
Auto Power Off
Whilst the meter is turned off, press and hold “ ” and press “ ”. The
unit will turn on with the auto power off feature toggled off.
Note: If the icon is displayed, the auto power off feature is enabled.
Additional Notes
1) Recommended recalibration cycle: 1 year.
2) Remove the battery when the meter is to be stored for long periods of time to avoid
battery leakage.
3) When the battery is low,the low battery indicator will appear.
A new battery is needed.
4) Do not store or operate the meter in high temperature or humidity.
5) Wind blowing across the microphone increases the noise measurement. Use the
supplied windscreen to cover the microphone when appliance.
6) Keep the microphone dry and avoid severe vibration.
7) Working in strong magnetic environment will affect the measuring accuracy.
