DSP Professional power amplier - 4 x 1670W @

Steel S13.4 DSP is a professional power ampli-
er with a maximum output power of 4 x 1220W
@ 8-ohm / 4 x 1670W @ 4-ohm and a maximum
bridged output power of 2 x 4000W (RMS) @
8-ohm. With a performance that stands out for
its very low distortion and high delity, Steel S13.4
DSP is equipped with a switching-mode power
supply. Precisely thanks to the design of its pow-
er supply, the amplier allows the peak power to
follow the dynamic range of the musical program,
being able to reproduce up to twice the RMS
power, without clipping. This translates, basically,
into peaks with much more dynamic range than a
conventional-source amplier. Last but not least,
Steel S13.4 DSP incorporates an advanced DSP
module that allows the user to generate and save
congurations, and send the processed signal to
other ampliers of the Steel series.

Welcome to use Audiolab S13.4 DSP. Audiolab S13.4
DSP is a very ecient and convenient software for
managing power amplier equipment. It is used for
monitoring, management and debugging of steel
series ampliers. It automatically recognizes and
creates a list of devices and manages up to 32 devic-
es at the same time. Operating condition: released
Audiolab Control V3.5.exe and Audiolab Control
V4.0.exe le are green version, you can directly run
the corresponding Windows operating system.
Audiolab Control V3.5.exe can run on Win7 / XP (XP
requires a separate installation of Microsoft .NET
Framework 3.5). Audiolab Control V4.0.exe can run
on Win8 / Win10. Hardware conguration:
• 1G RAM
• 100 MB disk space available
• 1366X768 color video display adapter.

4. MENU INTERFACE
1. The menu bar has the le menu, you can create a new oine device, import and export presets.
2. New device, you can select the device type, AK2-DSP or AK4DSP series, 700W and 1300W, select the
device ID, modify the device name.
3. Import the preset, rst enter the import of the preset path to select the le, if there is only one preset
of the selected le, you can import it into the target device in any one of the preset between 1-50, if there
are multiple present, which can be all imported together, you can also select one of them to import into
the device.

4. Export Default: Select the path of the exported le, select the exported preset device, and select the
required exported preset.

5. EDIT INTERFACE
1. Edit menu copy/paste device, copy/paste preset, copy parameter, paste parameter and delete oine
device.
2. Select the source device and the destination device, all the parameters of the source device will be
copied to the destination device after conrmation, in addition to the device ID, the process may continue
for a period of time.

6. CONG INTERFACE
1. Cong menu: power delay, LCD display, time limited, factory default, password, lock device and unlock
device
2. Boot delay, when multiple devices boot at the same time, they will boot according to the device ID de-
lay, delay time = ID × delay interval, you can set one or alldevice.

4. Time limit, the administrator set the running time of the device , after reaching the running time, the
software and device will cue the trial time is up, only a few extra time left, after closing the cue, the device
can continue to run for some time. The administrator can enter the password to turn o this function or
modify the time.

5. Restore factory settings: you can select one or more devices, restore to the factory state, ID remains
unchanged, need to enter the administrator password.

7. SOFTWARE HELP
1. Help: update rmware, about product, about soft and user guide
2. To upgrade the device rmware, rst press the BACK and ENTER keys of the device you want to up-
grade, then boot the device, run the software into the upgrade page, select the rmware, and then up-
grade. The entire upgrade process will take some time.

Device taskbar, switch the device list, LINK interface and device interface, Device List displays all devices

just the DSP parameters. The device interface can adjust the parameters of a single device. The font color
will be yellow when the device is warned, and the font color will be red when the device error occurs.

10. ENTER THE SETTINGS
Input settings interface, you can choose the sensitivity of 0.775,1.0,1.414VRMS Router parameter, you can
select one of the 4ch input or multiple mix output, you can choose the signal generator. Signal generator,
you can choose a sine wave or white noise, gain -80 ~ 0dB, sine wave frequency range 20 ~ 20K
The Dynamic Bass Boost block provides boost
that varies with input-signal level: lower levels
require, and receive, more bass than higher levels.
Using a variable-Q lter, this block dynamically ad-
justs the amount of boost. The lter calculates its
bass boost between the Threshold and the Min(i-
mum) Gain settings. A xed maximum is applied
to inputs above minimum gain and below thresh-
old. Seven parameters, described below, control
this block's performance. Enter their values in
the appropriate eld or use the arrows. While it
is important for you to know how these param-
eters work and precisely what they do, nothing
surpasses playing with each one and getting a
feel for how it aects, singly and in combination,
the sound you are trying to achieve.

Lowpass Freq: The lowpass frequency ranges
from 20Hz to 250Hz; frequencies below the select-
ed point are used by the detector for determining
the boost amount.
High Threshold (dB): The high threshold value,
ranging from -20 to 10dB, sets the upper point
for detector action. Signals higher than the mini-
mum gain will not inuence the boost calculation;
they're boosted a xed amount.
Time Constant: Ranging from 0 to 500 ms (milli-
seconds), this controls the rms time constant for
the detector, changing attack and release rates.
Low Threshold (dB): This value, ranging from -100
to -20dB, is the lower threshold of the detector.
Any signal coming into the detector below this
threshold will not inuence the boost calculation;
it receives a xed boost.
Compression Ratio: Ranging from 1 to 15, the
compression ratio - perhaps more readily under-
stood as a dynamic-boost ratio -- controls the
rate at which the bass boost changes from the
low to the high threshold.
Boost: This slider, ranging from 0 to 16dB,
controls the maximum gain that is dynamically
applied to the algorithm. Also see next.
Bass Freq.: This eld below the boost slider
ranges from 20 to 300Hz and designates the
center frequency for the boosting lter. Enter
your desired value directly into the eld or use
the two horizontal arrows at the sides of the
slider.
Note: When the slider is all the way down at
0dB, the block is still not truly bypassed.

Crossover Filters
Equalizer
Each channel has a high-pass and low-pass lter, support butterworth, Bessel and linkwitz-riley, frequency
20-20Khz, slew rate 12 ~ 48dB
Each channel has 10 equal intervals, rst select the channel you want to adjust, and then adjust the equal-
izer type, frequency and gain.
