dn TRACK/DISC SHUFFLE (SHF)
When the Shuffle button is pressed, the tracks on the disc will be
playedin a random, shuffled order (“SHF” will appear onthedisplay
panel and “TRK” will flash). The Track Select button cu will also
selecttracks in theshuffledorderinstead of thenormalprogression.
Whenalltracks on the disc have beenplayed inshuffled order,the
next disc will be selected in normal order and its tracks played in
shuffledorder. The TrackShufflemodewillbe canceled bypressing
theShuffle buttonagain(“SHF” will disappearfromthe displaypanel
and“TRK”willstopflashing)orbyactivatingtheRepeatdm orScan
do functions.
Whenthe Shufflebuttonispressedand held longerthan2seconds,
both the discs and the tracks will be played in a random, shuffled
order(“SHF” will appear on the display panel and “DISC” will flash).
After all tracks on the disc have been played, the changer will
select a new disc in shuffled order and play its tracks in shuffled
order. The Disc Shuffle mode will be canceled by pressing the
Shuffle button again (“SHF” will disappear from the display panel
and “DISC” will stop flashing) or by activating the Repeat dm or
Scan do functions.

When the Scan button is pressed, the first 10 seconds of each
trackonthe disc will beplayed inorder(“SCAN”will appear on the
display panel and the track number will flash). When a desired
track is reached, press the Scan button again and play of that
track will continue (“SCAN” will disappear from the display panel
andthetracknumberwillstopflashing). TheTrackScan mode will
also be canceled by activating the Disc Select cr & cs, Track
Select ct, Repeat dm, or Shuffle dn functions.
WhentheScan button is pressedand heldlongerthan2 seconds,
the first 10 seconds of the first track on each disc will be played
(“SCAN”will appear on thedisplay panel and thedisc number will
flash). When a desired disc is reached, press the Scan button
againandplayofthedisc will continue (“SCAN” will disappear from
thedisplaypaneland the disc number will stopflashing). The Disc
Scan mode will also be canceled by activating the Disc Select cr
& cs, Track Select ct, Repeat dm, or Shuffle dn functions.
CD CHANGER ERROR CODES
If a problem should develop while operating the CD changer, the
followingerror codes may appearonthe display panel.
EJ: IndicatesthatthereisnomagazineloadedintheCDchanger.
no_d: Indicates that there are no discs loaded in the CD
magazineinthechanger.
E-01, etc.: Indicates an error in the laser reading the disc in slot
#1ofthe magazine (E-02 for discin slot#2, etc.) Eject
themagazine,removetheindicated discandmake sure
itis clean, undamaged, and loaded correctly (label side
upor down asperCDchangerowner’s manual). Clean
and re-load the disc(s) as appropriate and check for
properoperation or try anotherdisc.
E-95: IndicatesacommunicationerrorbetweentheradioandCD
changer. Checktheconnectionsandcableofthechanger.
E-99: Indicatesexcessive temperature conditions attheCD
changer. Theerrorcode will go offandplaywillresume
when the temperature at the changer returns to a
normal range.
