An LCD paneland/or video monitormay be installedin a motorvehicle and visibleto the
driver if theLCD panel orvideo monitor isused for vehicleinformation , systemcontrol ,
rear or sideobservation or navigation. if theLCD panel orvideo monitor isused for
television reception ,video or DVDplay , theLCD panel orvideo monitor mustbe
installed so thatthese features willonly function whenthe vehicle isin “park” orwhen
the vehicles parkingbrake is applied.
An LCD paneland/or video monitorused for televisionreception , videoor DVD play
that operates whenthe vehicle isin gear orwhen the parkingbrake is notapplied must
be installed tothe rear ofthe driver seatwhere it willnot be visible, directly orindirectly ,
to the operatorof the motorvehicle .
Do not useany solvents orcleaning materials whencleaning the videomonitor.
Do not useany abrasive cleaners, they mayscratch the screen.
Use only lightlydampened lint freecloth to wipethe screen ifit is dirty.
Lock the LCDscreen in fullyclosed position whennot in use.
Before putting onheadphones always adjustthe volume settingto off orlowest
position
Remember to leavethe dome lightswitch in theoff or autopositions when thevehicle
is unattended ,as the domelights , ifleft on ,can drain thevehicle battery
Do not putpressure on thescreen .
Caution children toavoid touching orscratching the screen, as itmay become dirtyor
damaged .
For safety reasons, when changingvideo media itis recommended thatthe vehicle is
not in motion, and thatyou do notallow children tounfasten seat-belts tochange video
media or makeany adjustments tothe system .System adjustments canbe
accomplished using theremote control ,while seat-belts remainfastened .

Audio

audio language forDVDs. The defaultis English.
Note
User can also changethe audio language during
playback by pressing the Audio button.
The audio languagedepends on the material
on each disc.
Subtitles
Select your preferred languageto show the
subtitles on the screen.The subtitle languages
depend on the informationavailable on each disc.
You canalso change the subtitlelanguage during
playback by pressing theSubtitle button.

Disc Menu
This function allowsyou to choosethe menu
language stored onthe disc.
The default isEnglish.
The function isonly available forDVD.
Parental
Enter this option, usercan set child lockto prevent
children watching some unsuitablecontent in DVD
disc.
The function is disc-dependent.
The default isADULT.
Default
Select this itemand press OKbutton to reset all
settings to the originalfactory settings.
PLAYING JPG FILES
1. Place aJPG disc intothe tray,the unit will start reading and play.
2. Press MENUto browse JPGfiles.
3. Press" "to select aJPG file andpress OK buttonto confirm.
4. Press torotate the picturecounter-clockwise, press torotate the picture
clockwise.
5. Press DISPLAY when viewingpictures, you canselect different refreshmode as
follows:
a. from topto bottom
b. from bottomto top
c. from leftside to rightside
d. from rightside to leftside
e. from lefttop to rightbottom
f. from righttop to leftbottom
g. from leftbottom to righttop
h. from rightbottom to lettop
i. from horizontalcenter to bothsides
j. from verticalcenter to bothsides
k. from topand bottom tocenter
l. From rightand left tocenter
m. from fourwindow's top sideto bottom side
n. from fourwindow's left sideto right side
o. from 4edges to center
6. During viewingfiles, “ ”may appear whenpressing “Angle” or“Subtitle” or “Audio”
or “Title” etc, in this situation, these options are unavailable to operate.
7. When viewingJPG files, press“ ” ,pictures will bedisplayed in thumbnailmode, press
“ ”or “OK ”button toselect one pictureto view.
PLAYING MP3 FILES
1. Place MP3 disc into thedisc door orinsert USB disk, SD card to USB port or SD
card slot, press“ ” or “ OK ”button to choosea MP3 file, press “ ”or “ OK ”
button to playthe file selected.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

that is out of the range.
1. Youcan’t advance throughthe opening
credits and warning information that
appears at the beginning of amovie
because the disc isprogrammed to
prohibit that action.
1. Make sureyour DVD isconnected properly.
Make sure all cables are securelyinserted
into the appropriate jacks.
2. If youare using 2-channel IRheadphones,
make sure you turn on theIR headphone
power, make surethe correct channel(A-B)
is selected.
3. Make surethe modulator isON and the
proper frequency has been selected.
1. The discis dirty, clean it.
2. Condensation has formed,allow player to
dry out.
1. Insert adisc with thelabel side facing up.
2. Check thetype of thedisc you put into the
disc tray.This DVD only plays DVD, VCD,
audio CD, JPEG, MP3 and MPEG4.
3. Both theunit and thedisc are coded by
region. If the regional code doesn’tmatch,
the disc can’t be played.

When a discis loading tothe DVD player, the program system will switch to DVD mode
directly whatever theCARD or USBand AV is in play condition.
Last Memory forthe DVD mode:Every time turningpower on, itwill play from the point
stopped last time.
At power OFFmode, put intoa disc, andit can automaticallyslot in the disc and turn
power on.
AV1
The unit willaccept an audio/videoinput through the3RCA jackslocated on therear of
the unit. Theaudio/video device canbe a video game system, video camera, or other
input device.
CARD
Insert a card(compatiblewith normal SD/MMC/MS)and play content.
Supported format: MP3,JPEG, AVI, MPEG , etc.
USB
Insert USB andplay content.
Supported format: MP3,JPEG, AVI, MPEG , etc.
OVERHEAD DOME LIGHTS
The Dome Lightintegrated into theF101 are controlledby a threeposition slide switch.
Sliding the switchto the ONposition will turnthe light ON.The OFF positionwill
prevent the lightsfrom turning ONwith the vehicleinterior lighting, andthe auto
position will allowthe lights toturn ON andOFF with thevehicle interior lighting.Refer
to the installationguide for wireconnections. Do notleave the vehicleunattended with
the dome lightswitch in theON position, asthis could resultin a dischargedbattery.
REMOTE SENSOR
The unit incorporatestwo infrared remotesensors which relaysignals from theremote
control to allowthe unit tobe controlled simplyby pointing itsremote control atthe
remote sensor.The infrared sensorcan relay signals from most manufacturer's remote
control to itsrespective component connectedto theAV input,in this case, you must
use the remotecontrol supplied withthe component.
