When using the Test kit, observe the connection con-
ditions as well as the safety instructions for avoiding
personal injury and property damage, which are given
in the installation instructions for the window drives to
be tested, and in particular the hazards that can arise
from a power-operated window.
Target group
These instructions are intended for qualied personnel with know-
ledge and skills in electrical and mechanical drive installation.
Intended use
The Test-kit is intended for the trial operation of window drives that
full the technical connection conditions to the Test-kit, as well as for
the trial operation of power-operated windows that are equipped with
such drives.
Safety instructions
Operation
Insert the mains plug of the Test kit only into suitable sockets. Only
use the safety banana plugs supplied with the device to connect the
drives.
Ambient conditions
Only use the Test kit in dry rooms and protect it permanently from
dirt and moisture. Heavy shocks, falls and vibrations can damage
the device and must be avoided. Observe the specied operating
temperature range during use.
Test unassembled drives on a non-slip and secure surface or test
xture. Before test operation, take the appropriate safety precautions
for the respective drives so that control of the movement of the drives
is ensured at all times and the potential for injury is excluded.
Do not reach into the test element during test operation - risk of in-
jury! For drives without an integrated switch-off device, switch off the
supply voltage manually via the device in good time to avoid dama-
ging it!
The Test kit is maintenance-free. Do not open the electronics of the
device. The replacement of used or defective batteries as well as
other components (exception: mains plug socket fuse) may only be
carried out by the manufacturer. Interventions by others will void the
manufacturer‘s liability and the warranty. Have the device checked
for operational safety in accordance with the relevant regulations of
the professional associations.
Be sure to properly connect the drive cables to the saf-
ety banana plugs. Never connect 24 V DC drives to the
230 V AC jacks. Always connect PE grounding wires
- otherwise there is a risk of danger to life due to short
circuit or electric shock!

Care
To clean the device, only use cleaning agents that do not attack the
housing and the operating panel or labeling.
Fully charge the integrated batteries before using it for the rst time.
The batteries are charged even when the Test-kit is switched off,
and the display remains active. The Test kit switches itself
off in battery mode after 30 minutes without use and has deep
discharge protection. If the Test-kit is not used for a very long time,
check the charge status of the batteries and recharge them, if neces-
sary, in order to maintain the charging capacity in the best possible
way.
The symbol of the „crossed-out dustbin“ means
that you are legally obliged to collect these ap-
pliances separately and recycle them in an en-
vironmentally friendly manner. Do not throw old
electrical appliances into the household waste!
