Connection recommendations
The device turns on when + 12V is supplied to the “REM” terminal (when connected via RCA
inputs). An acceptable wire is 18-16AWG (0.75-1.5mm2). The standard color of the control
cable is blue. Or it turns on automatically (by signal) if connected via a high-level input (from
the speaker systems of the head unit).
Connect the positive (+ 12V) cable only after all other cables have been connected. The
negative cable must be connected to the vehicle body exclusively by bolting. The connection
point must be free of paint and reliably protected from corrosion. Loose power connections
can lead to instability and malfunction of the device.
1. Increase the level on the source gradually until distortion is audible. Then turn the control
back a little until the audible distortion disappears.
2. Gradually increase the output level of the RHL-LD01 until distortion is audible. Then turn
the control back a little until the audible distortion disappears.
After turning on the device:
Before turning on the device: Turn all signal level controls on the device to the minimum
position. Set the volume control on the head unit (source) to the minimum position.
