WARNINGS
THIS ELECTRIC APPLIANCE PRODUCES INFRARED HEAT, AND FAILURE TO FOLLOW
WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS CAN CAUSE A FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY.
Heater must be installed by a certified electrician and must adhere to
all local, state and national electric codes.

Please read this owner’s manual carefully before operating
the unit and keep it for future reference.
Notice: Changes or modifications not approved by the party responsible for compliance will void the user's
authority to operate the equipment.

SAFETY
WARNINGS
Wiring
Check whether your heater and power cord are
damaged before operating your appliance. If yes, do
not plug your heater and contact with authorized
technical service.
Check whether there is any crack, disjoint or scratch
on the heating tube. If any, do not plug your heater
and contact with authorized technical service.
Caution! Do not use your heater together with
another appliance connected to the same supply line
or connected to the same breaker.
Use your heater with a properly earthed plug.
The earthed plug must be outside heating area and
hot surface.
The power cord must not be left on or around the
frame of your heater.
Unplug your appliance when you won’t operate it for
a long term or will conduct cleaning
or maintenance.
Installation and operation
Heater is not to be recessed
Do not touch the heater during operation. Burn or
scald injury could result. The casing and components
are extremely hot during operation.
The heater must be installed at level on a flat, stable
surface, rigid enough to withstand safely the weight
of the heater and not covered by any flexible
material, such as carpets, plastic or fabric.
Do not cover your heater and do not hang any
clothing over the heater or do not place any clothing
on or near the heater.
Do not stick anything into the protective grid.
Do not use the heater without the aluminium guard
in place.
To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or
exhaust in any manner.
Do not make use of your heater to light up cigarette
or similar materials.
The appliance is not
intended for use by children or other persons
without assistance or supervision if their physical,
sensory or mental capabilities prevent them from
using it safely.
Do not use gasoline or other flammable vapors or
liquids, including aerosol cans, in the vicinity of this
heater while it is operating.
Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any of
the heater openings. Electrical shock could result.
Keep combustible materials, such as furniture,
pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, curtains, etc. at
least 6 feet (0.9m) from the front of the heater and
keep them away from side and rear.

Never leave the heater unattended while it is
operating.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning the unit or replacing the heating
tube, turn off the main power. Make sure the heater
and/or the heating tube is cool before handling.
Service must be performed only by a qualified service
technician.
Localisation
We recommend installing the unit so that it is
protected from inclement weather such as rain and
snow.
Do not direct the radiant part of the heater towards
the ceiling.
Specified minimum clearances from front, sides,
bottom and back of unit must be met. Failure to
meet clearance minimums can result in fire.
Heater is not to be installed or used in an area
containing hazardous or flammable materials
including but not limited to rags, fabrics, spray or
aerosol cans, cleaning compounds, plastic
containers, paper products, organic dusts,
straw/hay, gasoline, kerosene, lighter fluid, etc.
Heater is not for use in bathrooms, laundry areas or
other locations where unit could fall into the water.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Heater installation must be carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with local National Codes (NEC)
as well as any other applicable standards. Failure to comply with applicable requirements could result in
personal injury and/or property damage.
The heater can be mounted on a wall and adjustable brackets allow the heat to be directed where desired.
2.1 INSTALLATION CLEARANCE DISTANCES

The minimum clearances indicated on the nameplate and in the heater, manual must be observed at the time of
installation. Allow at least 5’ (1.5 m) between all sides of the heater and flammable items.

2.2 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
Safety precautions
1. Each power supply circuit must be hard wired and properly grounded.
2. Use a certified ground fault protection device for wet environment installations.
3. Use proper electrical connection box
4. Supply voltage and frequency must correspond to the electrical rating indicated on unit’s plate.
2.3 WALL-MOUNTED INSTALLATION
WARNING
The HEATER must be installed on a solid surface and must only be
operated in a horizontal position with a slope of max 5°.

1. Take the heater out of its box and remove all
the protective mounts.
2. Select the location of the unit on the wall by
identifying the studs or structural beams that will
allow secure attachment of the unit. Make sure
all minimum clearances are respected.
3. Securely fasten the L-shaped brackets to the
mounting surface using both fixing holes in the
short part of the bracket. NOTE: Wall bolts are
not supplied. Select an appropriate size to
provide adequate support for the weight of the
unit and taking into consideration any wind load
conditions.
4. Mount the heater to the brackets with the
terminal box at the right side of the heater.
5. Adjust the heater to the desired directional
angle, then fix in this position by tightening the
fixing bolts on the brackets at the rear of the
heater.
6. Secure electrical supply cable so it does not come
in contact with the heater body or obstruct the
air vents. Follow local and national electrical
code requirements.
The angles of attachment are 20° to 70°.
2.4 ADJUSTING DIRECTIONAL POSITIONING
WARNING
Never attempt to move the heater while it is operating. Personal injury could
result.
1. Turn off the supply line of the heater from the main supply.
2. Allow the heater to cool before re-positioning the angle.
3. Loosen the fixing bolts on the brackets at the rear of the heater; re-position the heater as desired, then
re-tighten the fixing bolts.
Notice : Direct your heater towards the most appropriate angle. Do not point your heater to the windows or
vacant spaces since infrared heater is designed to directly heat people and objects in line with the unit.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Caution! When the heater is not used for long term, be sure to set the operating mode to the "OFF" position.
The heater has two modes of operation, these two modes can be selected using the button on the right side of
the heater.
3.1 MANUAL MODE
When the manual mode is selected, the heater will operate at 100% of rated power.
3.2 REMOTE MODE
The remote control must be pointed in direction of the receiver of the heater (located at the front) and must be
at a maximum distance of 6 m.
The remote mode has 6 power levels. The power level can be selected with the remote. The selected power
level is written on the screen in front of the heater. The remote mode works only with the remote control
supplied with the product. L0 représents the standby while L6 represents the higher heating level.

3.2.1
OPERATION OF THE REMOTE CONTROL

Up one heating level

The heater goes directly to the highest heating level (short
delay on start).

Down one heating level.
ON
To switch the heater ON : Press On.
The heater has a soft start function of 16% power. 4 seconds
after the heater has been turned on, it will automatically
switch to the last heating level used. In case of the first-time
use, after 4 seconds the heater will automatically switch to
100% power.
OFF
To switch the heater off : Press OFF. The heater will switch to
Standby mode (the receiver indicator will light up).
Notice :
1. Use 2 pieces AAA size 1.5V (not included) batteries in the remote control. Remove the battery when not use for long
time, thus the lifespan of remote control can be extended.
2. The heater can be still used in normal except remote control function if the remote control is missed or lost.
3. The remote-control function may not work if there is a barrier between the remote control and heater.
4. Replacing the batteries duly so as not to affect the normal use of heater and remote control.

MAINTENANCE
WARNINGS
1. Allow the heater and the heating tube to cool down before handling.
2. Installation and maintenance must be performed by a qualified technician.
3. Turn off the power before beginning maintenance.
4. Do not attempt to service or repair the unit while it is running.
5. Should the heater be dropped or damaged or malfunction at any time, immediately turn off the main
power source and do not use it until it has been examined by an authorized service facility.

Notice: Do not touch the heating tubewith bare hands. Wearing soft cotton gloves is highly recommended. Finger
marks will burn into the quartz heating tube during use and cause premature heater failure. If the heating tube is
anidvertently touched, or if it needs to be cleaned, carrefully wipe it using rubbing alcohol or methylated spirits.
4.1 CLEANING
To remove dust or dirt on the reflector, follow these steps:
1. Turn the power to «OFF» and disconnect the heater from the main power supply.
2. Remove screws from the left side cover and slide the perforated front grille.
3. Carefully wipe the reflector with a soft, lint-free cloth.
4. After the cleaning, be sure to reinstall properly the grid of the unit.
4.2 REPLACING THE HEATING TUBE
Contact your distributor for the correct replacement heating tube, providing the model number and rating from
the rating label. Not using an exact replacement heating tube can cause the heater to fail.
Notice : Read through the heating tube replacement procedure below before beginning the replacement. For
easier replacement, disassemble the heater from the wall or ceiling.
1. Turn OFF the power and disconnect from main
power supply.
2. Be sure the heater and the heating tube are
cool: burns can result from touching hot
components.
3. Remove screws from the left side of the heater
fixture and remove the aluminum end cap.
(keep these parts).
4. Carefully slide the protective grille immediately
adjacent to the end cap off the end of the
heater to expose the emitter and the plastic
sealing connectors.
5. Carefully unscrew the protective plastic cap
and pull carefully the plastic protective to free
the wire/ metal connector system.

Caution! Disconnect the metal locking
connectors by squeezing the metal tab.
6. Remove the two metal pieces on the vertical
reflector and remove the defective heating
tube from the unit. Arrange the broken heating
tube in a recovery center.
7. Hold the new heating tube by the ceramic ends
or wearing clean dry gloves and position the
new lamp inside the unit.
8. Connect the new heating tube to the terminals
of the heater; screw in the protective plastic
cap.

9. Replace the two pieces of metal on the vertical
reflector to secure the heating tube inside the
unit.!

10. Carefully replace the protective aluminum
grille and screw the protective end cap in place.
Due to ongoing product improvements, specifications and
dimensions are subject to change and correction without notice and
without incurring obligations. Determining the application and
suitability for use of any product is the responsibility of the installer.
Additionally, the installer is responsible for verifying dimensional
data on the actual product prior to beginning any installation
preparations.
Incentive and rebate programs have precise requirements as to
product performance and certification. All products meet applicable
regulations in effect on date of manufacture; however, certifications
are not necessarily granted for the life of a product. Therefore, it is
the responsibility of the applicant to determine whether a specific
model qualifies for these incentive/rebate programs.

LIMITED EXPRESS WARRANTY
RESIDENTIAL INSTALLATION/USE:
LIMITED ONE (1) YEAR PARTS WARRANTY
Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. warrants all parts of the infrared
heaters to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for
normal residential use and maintenance for one (1) year from the date
of purchase by the original consumer.
COMMERCIAL INSTALLATION USE:
LIMITED ONE (1) YEAR PARTS WARRANTY, Ninety (90) DAY
EMITTER (LAMP) WARRANTY
Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. warrants all parts (excluding the
emitter lamp) of the infrared heater to be free from defects in
workmanship and materials for normal commercial use and
maintenance for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
Inforesight Consumer Products Inc, warrants the emitter lamp of the
infrared heater to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for
normal commercial use and maintenance for one (1) year from the date
of purchase.
The Limited Warranties described above apply only when the Infrared
Heater is installed and operated per Inforesight Consumer Products Inc.
installation and operating instructions for normal use.
EXCEPTIONS
The Limited Warranty does not cover normal maintenance-Inforesight
Consumer Products recommends that regular inspection/maintenance
be performed according to the Installation and Operation Manual
Additionally, labor charges, diagnostic charges, transportation charges
for replacement parts, replacement of the bulb, or any other service
calls/repairs are not covered by this Limited Warranty. It also does not
cover any portion or component of the system that is not supplied by
Inforesight Consumer Products, regardless of the cause of failure of
such portion or component.
CONDITIONS FOR WARRANTY COVERAGE
Unit must be operated according to Inforesight Consumer Prod.
operating instructions included with the unit and cannot have been
subjected to accident, alteration, improper repair, neglect or misuse, or
an act of God (such as a flood)
• Installation must be according to Inforesight Consumer Products
Inc. Instructions
• Rating plate has not been altered or removed
• Unit is not operated in a corrosive environment
• Performance cannot be impaired by use of any product not
authorized by Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. or by any
adjustment or adaptations to components
• Damage has not been a result of inadequate wiring or voltage
conditions, use during brown-out conditions, or circuit interruptions
DURATION OF WARRANTY & REGISTRATION
The warranty begins on the date of purchase by the original consumer.
The consumer must register at [email protected]om within 90 days of
purchase. The consumer must retain a receipted bill of sale as proof of
warranty period. Without this proof, the express warranty begins on the
date of shipment from the factory.
REMEDY PROVIDED BY THE LIMITED EXPRESS WARRANTY The
sole remedy under the Limited Warranty is replacement of the defective
part. If replacement parts are required within the period of this warranty,
Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. replacement parts shall be used;
any warranty on the replacement part(s) shall not affect the applicable
original unit warranty. Labor to diagnose and replace the defective part
is not covered by this Limited Express Warranty. If for any reason the
replacement part/product is no longer available during the warranty
period, Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. shall have the right to allow
a credit in the amount of the current suggested retail price of the
part/product instead of providing repair or replacement.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
1. There are no other express or implied warranties. Inforesight
Consumer Products Inc, makes no warranty of merchantability.
We do not warrant that the unit is suitable for any particular
purpose or can be used in buildings or rooms of any particular
size or condition except as specifically provided in this Installation
and Operation document. There are no other warranties, express
or implied, which extend beyond the description in this document.
2. All warranties implied by law are limited in duration to the one-
year term of the Parts Warranty. Your exclusive remedy is limited
to the replacement of defective parts. We will not be liable for
any consequential or incidental damages caused by any
defect in this unit.
3. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also
have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do
not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or do
not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to
you,
4. No warranties are made for units sold outside the continental
United States and Canada. Your distributor or final seller may
provide a warranty on units sold outside these areas.
5. Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. will not be liable for damages
if our performance regarding warranty resolution is delayed by
events beyond our control including accident, alteration, abuse,
war, government restrictions, strikes, fire, flood, or other acts of
God.

date of purchase available for this call. Do not return your unit to the
