Reading and storing this user manual
This user manual accompanies this heated car seat cushion. It con-
tains important information on setup and handling.
Before using the heated car seat cushion, read this user manual
carefully. This particularly applies for the safety notes. Failure to
heed this user manual may result in severe injury or damage to the heated car
seat cushion.
Important instructions
Store for subsequent use
If you pass the heated car seat cushion on to third parties, be absolutely sure to
include this user manual.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the
heated car seat cushion or on the packaging.
WARNING! This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with moderate degree of risk which may lead
to death or severe injury if not avoided.
CAUTION! This signal word designates a hazard with low
risk which may result in minor or moderate
injury if not avoided.
NOTICE! This signal symbol/word warns against poten-
tial damages to property.
This symbol provides you with useful supplementary information
on the operation of this heated car seat cushion.

Proper use
The heated car seat cushion is only designed for keeping persons warm while
traveling with a vehicle. It is only intended for private use and not suitable for
commercial purposes.
Only use the heated car seat cushion as described in this user manual. Using it
in any other way is deemed improper and may result in damage to propertyor
even personal injury. The heated car seat cushion is not a children’s toy and shall
not be used by children under 3 years of age.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damage incurred
through improper or incorrect use.

WARNING!
Risk to life!
Incorrectly attaching the heated car seat cushion may prevent/
falsify the release of the seat air bag in the event of a crash.
− Only use the heated car seat cushion so that it does not
cover or impair the seat air bag. If you have questions
regarding the seat air bag, read the manual for your vehicle
or ask your local car shop.
− Be absolutely sure to follow this user manual when at-
taching the heated car seat cushion.
− Reposition the heated car seat cushion if it has shifted. If
this is no longer possible due to deformation or substantial
wear, remove the heated car seat cushion.
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
A faulty electrical installation or excessive line voltage may
result in an electric shock.
− Only connect the heated car seat cushion to a 12V on-board
power socket of a vehicle (cigarette lighter).
− Make sure that the 12V on-board power socket is always
easily accessible so that you can quickly disconnect the
connector cord from the power supply in the event of a fault.
− Do not operate the heated car seat cushion if it is visibly
damaged or the connector cord or 12V plug are defective.
− If the connector cord of the heated car seat cushion is
damaged, the manufacturer, its customer service team or
a person with similar qualifications must replace it to avoid
risks.

− Do not open the heated car seat cushion; instead, have
a qualified professional perform the repairs. Contact a
qualified workshop for this. Liability and warranty claims
are waived in the event of repairs performed by the user,
improper connection or incorrect operation.
− Only parts that comply with the original device data may
be used for repairs. Electrical and mechanical parts, which
are essential for providing protection against sources of
danger, are located in this heated car seat cushion.
− Do not immerse the heated car seat cushion or the
connector cord or plug in water or other liquids.
− Never touch the 12V plug with damp hands.
− Never pull the 12V plug out of the 12V on-board power
socket by the connector cord; instead, always do so by
taking hold of it directly.
− Never use the connector cord as a carrying strap.
− Keep the heated car seat cushion, the 12V plug and the
connector cord away from open flames and hot surfaces.
− Do not kink the connector cord and do not lay it over sharp
edges.
− Only use the heated car seat cushion inside vehicles. Never
operate it in the rain.
− Make sure that children do not insert any objects in the
heated car seat cushion.

Safety
− Always switch the heated car seat cushion off and pull the
12V plug out of the 12V on-board power socket if you don’t
use the heated car seat cushion, clean it or in the event of
a fault.
− Before each cleaning and care and after use, pull the
connector cord out of the 12V on-board power socket.
WARNING!
Danger for children and persons with impaired physical,
sensory or mental capacities (e.g. partially disabled per-
sons, older persons with reduced physical and mental ca-
pacities) or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g. older
children).
− Children younger than 3 years of age must not use the
heated car seat cushion as they may be unable to respond
in the event of overheating.
− Children over 3 years of age may only use the heated car
seat cushion if a parent or guardian has preset the control
unit or the child has been adequately instructed in how to
safely adjust the control unit.
− This heated car seat cushion may be used by children ages
eight and over as well as persons with impaired physical,
sensory or mental capacities or those lacking experience
and knowledge if they are supervised or have been
instructed in how to safely use the heated car seat cushion
and have understood the risks associated with operating
it. Children may not play with the heated car seat cushion.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed
by unsupervised children.
− Do not leave the heated car seat cushion unattended
while in operation.
− Make sure that children do not play with the packaging
wrapper. They may get caught in it when playing and
suffocate.

WARNING!
Burn hazard!
The heated car seat cushion becomes warm during use.
− Do not use the heating function in the event of direct contact
between your skin and the heated car seat cushion.
− Do not use the heated car seat cushion with helpless persons,
small children or heat-sensitive persons (e.g. diabetics,
persons with pathological skin alterations or scarring in
the application area, after taking pain-relieving medication
or drinking alcohol) and other vulnerable persons, who
are not able to react to excessive heat exposure.
− Do not use the heated car seat cushion on parts of your
body that are inflamed, injured or swollen. Ask your physician
in case of doubt. Otherwise, the inflammation, injuries or
wounds may worsen.
− Make sure that you or other persons do not fall asleep
while the heated car seat cushion is operating.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the heated car seat cushion may result
in damage to the heated car seat cushion.
− Do not use blankets, pillows or covers on the heated car
seat cushion.
− Ensure that the connector cord does not come into contact
with hot parts.
− Never expose the heated car seat cushion to high
temperatures (heater etc.) or to effects of the weather
(rain etc.).
− Never attempt to clean the heated car seat cushion by
immersing it in water and do not use a steam cleaner to
clean it.

− Discontinue using the heated car seat cushion if it is
cracked, chipped or deformed. Only replace damaged
parts with corresponding original spare parts.
− Do not insert needles or pointy objects in the heated car
seat cushion.
− Do not operate the heated car seat cushion near heat
sources, open flames such as candles or in direct sunlight
to prevent overheating.
− During operation, make sure that the 12V plug is securely
plugged into the 12V on-board power socket and that
it is free of dirt. If there is no sufficient contact between
the 12V plug and 12V on-board power socket, the vehicle
vibration may cause the power supply to switch on and off
at short intervals. This may result in overheating.
− Do not switch the heated car seat cushion on when it is
folded up or pushed together.
− Do not fold or crease the heated car seat cushion.
− Do not place any heavy objects like a suitcase on the heated
car seat cushion.
Checking the heated car seat cushion
and product contents
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a
sharp knife or other pointy object, you may quickly damage
the heated car seat cushion.
− For this reason, be very careful when opening it.
1. Take the heated car seat cushion out of the packaging and check whether
the heated car seat cushion or the individual parts exhibit damages. If this is
the case, do not use the heated car seat cushion. Contact the manufacturer
at the service address specified on the warranty card.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see fig. A).

Improper handling of the heated car seat cushion may result in
injury and damage to the heated car seat cushion.
− Before start-up, make sure that the 12V plug and the
power cord are dry.
− If you experience pain, immediately switch off the heated
car seat cushion.
− Do not crease or fold the heated car seat cushion and keep
it away from water and other liquids.
− Do not use the heated car seat cushion near open flames
or other heat sources such as intense sunlight.
− Check the heated car seat cushion regularly for wear and
damage. Stop using the heated car seat cushion if there
are any indications of this kind, if the heated car seat cushion
has been used improperly or if it no longer functions.
Return the heated car seat cushion to the vendor.
Attaching the heated car seat cushion
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Improperly attaching the heated car seat cushion may result
in injury.
− Secure the heated car seat cushion and the connector
cords so as not to impair the driver’s range of movement
in any way.
− Check that the heated car seat cushion does not cover any
air bag thereby impairing it.
1. Place the heated car seat cushion 3on the car seat.
2. Secure the heated car seat cushion to the back rest of the car seat with the
lash straps 4.

Cleaning
3. Fix the heated car seat cushion by anchoring the tension straps 5and
attachment hooks 6to the seat cushion.
4. Make sure that the connector cord is not caught anywhere.
Operating the heated car seat cushion
Only use the heated car seat cushion while the motor is running.
1. Connect the 12V plug 7to the 12V on-board power socket.
2. Now select the desired heat setting by setting the sliding switch 2either
to “LOW” (108 – 122 °F/42 – 50 °C) o “HIGH” (117 – 131 °F/47 – 55 °C).
The power LED will light up.
3. Switch the heated car seat cushion off by setting the sliding switch to “OFF”.
4. Then pull the 12V plug out of the 12V on-board power socket.
Cleaning
NOTICE!
Risk of short circuit!
Water that has penetrated the housing may cause a short
circuit.
− Never immerse the heated car seat cushion in water.
− Make sure that no water penetrates the heated car seat
cushion.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the heated car seat cushion may result
in damage.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal
or nylon bristles, sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such
as knives, hard scrapers or similar utensils. They could
damage the surfaces.
− Never put the heated car seat cushion in the washing
machine.

1. Before cleaning, pull the 12V plug out of the 12V on-board power socket.
2. Let the heated car seat cushion cool off completely.
3. Wipe the heated car seat cushion off with a damp cloth.
4. Then let all parts dry completely.
Maintenance
The 12V plug has a fuse for protecting the on-board electrical system of the
vehicle. Check and replace the fuse if the heated car seat cushion is no longer
functioning (see fig. E).
1. Screw the screw adapter 11 off of the 12V plug 7in a counterclockwise
direction.
2. Remove the plug tip 10 .
3. Remove the fuse 9.
4. Place a new glass tube fuse (F5AL250V) on the coil spring 8.
5. Put the plug tip back on the new fuse.
6. Screw the screw adapter onto the 12V plug by turning it clockwise.
Storage
− Let the heated car seat cushion cool off completely.
− Store the heated car seat cushion in a clean and dry place.
− Store the heated car seat cushion so that it is not accessible to children.
− Avoid creasing of the heated car seat cushion during storage caused by
heavy objects that are placed on it.
− Do not put heavy objects on the heated car seat cushion.

Sort the packaging before you dispose of it. Dispose of paperboard and card-
