4. MAINTENANCE
4.1 Check-up
If the lift belt is showing signs of tear and wear it
must be replaced by a new.
4.2 Fuse
The hoist has a 10 A fuse that is placed either on
the cable by the plug to the electricity socket or on
the cable just before the connection to the vehicle
battery.
4.3 Lift belt
The lift band shall be replaced every four years.
4.4 Cleaning
Use a vacuum cleaner with a thin nozzle to clean
the hoist base and its cavities.
Use a moist towel to clean from dirt etc.
Symptom Cause Measure
The hoist is not
activeted when
toggle switch is

a) The lift belt has been jammed and caused
the fuse to blow.
b) End position is reached.
c) The electricity plug is not connected (applies
for installations via the compartment socket).
d) Vehicle battery is discharged
e) A short circuit has caused the fuse to blow.
Remove the motor and rewind the lift belt
evenly. Replace the fuse.
Activate in reversed direction.
Plug the cable in the socket.
Charge the vehicle battery.
Contact the autorized workshop.
The hoist is working
unusually slow.
Vehicle battery is discharged. Charge the vehicle battery.
In case of an emergency: Try to start
the motor and let the motor run while
unloading the wheelchair.
