Connect the AC Adapter
Use the supplied AC adapter to connect the docking
station to a standard AC outlet.
Install Batteries in the Remote
Install 2 AAA batteries (not included),
matching the polarity symbols (+
and –) marked inside.
bBattery Notes:
If the remote control stops
operating, or its control range
decreases, replace the batteries.
Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do
not burn or bury batteries.
Use only fresh batteries of the required size and
recommended type. Do not mix old and new
batteries or batteries of different types, capacities,
or chemistries.
If you do not plan to use the remote control for at
least a month, remove the batteries. Batteries can
leak chemicals that can damage electronic parts.

Dock and Charge Your iPod/iPhone
1. Loosen the remote control holder lock screw to
release the support plate.
2. Insert your iPod/iPhone and adjust the support
plate to fit your iPod/iPhone.
3. Lock the plate in position.

1. Turn off the screen lock and auto-lock timer on
your iPod Touch/iPhone.
2. Go into the desired iPod mode using your iPod
Touch/iPhone.
3. Select functions with the remote control.

Synchronize with Your PC
1. Install the latest iTunes software.
2. Connect the docking station to your computer’s
USB port using a standard USB 2.0 cable (not
included).
3. Dock your iPod/iPhone.
n Notes:
Do not remove the iPod/iPhone from the docking
station while synchronizing files.
A USB cable longer than 4ft. (1.2 m) can impair
data transfer.
View Photos and Watch Videos
1. Connect the docking station.
2. Turn on the TV OUT function in the iPod/iPhone
menu, if available.
3. Dock your iPod/iPhone.
4. Play the video or start the photo slideshow with
your iPod/iPhone.

Troubleshooting
I cannot hear any sound when I connect the
docking station to my sound system.
Check all connections.
Make sure your iPod/iPhone is correctly and
firmly docked.
Check if your iPod/iPhone is muted.
Check if your receiver is turned on, the correct
input source is selected, and the volume is
turned up.
My iPod/iPhone’s battery does not charge.
Make sure your iPod/iPhone is correctly and
firmly docked.

Make sure the AC adapter is correctly connected
to the dock and plugged into the wall.
Make sure your iPod/iPhone models supported
by this docking station.
The remote does not function.
Remove all obstacles between the remote
control and the remote sensor.
Replace the batteries.
Make sure your iPod/iPhone is correctly and
firmly docked.
Your iPod/iPhone’s firmware may be out of date.
Visit Apple’s iPod website for upgrades.
Unplug the power cable to reset the docking
station. After one minute, plug it back in.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the
limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC
Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protec-

USB cables to ensure its compliance with FCC rules.
Limited Warranty
Ignition L.P. warrants this product against defects in materials
and workmanship under normal use by the original purchaser
for ninety (90) days after the date of purchase. IGNITION L.P.
MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES.
This warranty does not cover: (a) damage or failure caused by
or attributable to abuse, misuse, failure to follow instructions,
improper installation or maintenance, alteration, accident, Acts of
God (such as floods or lightning), or excess voltage or current; (b)
improper or incorrectly performed repairs by persons who are not
a Ignition L.P. Authorized Service Facility; (c) consumables such as
fuses or batteries; (d) ordinary wear and tear or cosmetic damage;
(e) transportation, shipping or insurance costs; (f) costs of product
removal, installation, set-up service, adjustment or reinstallation;
and (g) claims by persons other than the original purchaser.
Should a problem occur that is covered by this warranty, take the
product and the sales receipt as proof of purchase date to the

provided by law: (a) repair the product without charge for parts
and labor; (b) replace the product with the same or a comparable
product; or (c) refund the purchase price. All replaced parts and
products, and products on which a refund is made, become the
property of Ignition L.P. New or reconditioned parts and products
may be used in the performance of warranty service. Repaired
or replaced parts and products are warranted for the remainder
of the original warranty period. You will be charged for repair
or replacement of the product made after the expiration of the
warranty period.
IGNITION L.P. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND
CONDITIONS NOT STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE IMPOSED BY LAW,
