COLOUR MONITOR GUIDELINES
Congratulations for purchasing our mobile safety product! Before connecting, operating or
adjusting this product, please read these instructions. AXIS wants you to achieve the best
performance from your investment.
1. As the monitor is composed of many precise electronic components, please do not
attempt to make repairs. If a problem occurs, please shut down the monitor immediately.
Restart after disconnecting any external sources such as a camera or video source. If a
problem still exists, contact our Service Department or your local dealer.
2. Carefully select the installation location so the operator can comfortably view the image
(when vehicle is reversing etc) without obstructing normal driving. Do not mount the
monitor in direct sunlight or near any heater ducts.
3. Do not expose the monitor to extreme conditions such as humid air, dust, vapour or
direct sunlight.
4. Watching video whilst driving is dangerous and illegal in most states of Australia and
New Zealand. Always connect the monitor to function only when reverse gear is selected,
or the park brake ON.
